Yikes it's getting ugly is here...Maybe we should all act like adults and not get upset over stupid stuff...it's a message board...

You are absolutely right, Josh. I wish a thousand times over I had not made that post as everyone seems to be all bent out of shape about it. I'll be honest - that comment about being "mean spirited" has really hurt my feelings and my otherwise positive demeanor.

Congratualions on your short-timing! Take lots of pictures so we can all enjoy them! Hope you have a wonderful and safe trip!

Sorry...I just had to point out that I'm busy and don't have time to wait for others to play games in their cars.

Now I will go back to posting nice Disney things.

Your time is no more valuable than the rest of ours. Keep driving and find another parking space....this one is mine until I give it up. If I want to talk on my cell phone, I will do so. If I want to go back into the store, I will do so. If I just want to sit there, I will do so. And don't hold up those behind you who cannot get around you because you insist on waiting for a parking space that isn't yours to begin with.....just pull in a spot and go about your business. Those behind you probably don't have time to wait on you either.

Feel free to pm me if you'd like. I'm not trying to be controversial, I just think that folks who do not have special needs should just pull in the first available space and let that be that.

We will be at the POP in 5 days. We are so excited. It's our first time. We just told the DD7 and 5 that we were going to Disney on Sat. They are soo excited. That's all they are talking about. We want to stay in the 70's section b/c mommy (me) has the Mickey phone just like that. I get laughed at because it's so old!!

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe trip! Take lots of pictures so you can share them with us when you get back!

Hey Alan thanks! I also wanted to say to you that I read your Post-trip report last weekend and thought it was amazing! For a guy stuck in Iraq for another week or 2 it made me smile seeing all the great pictures of your trip. Also all the food pictures made my mouth water! Thanks again!

I am started to get a little worried though about the crowds when we are going to be at WDW. I know the first Saturday there is going to be like the 7th level of hell but I hope it dies off after that!

I think you jest. Nevertheless, if you read that comment it says your comments "come across as mean-spirited". Seems that would be true from what you've continue to post....rather than apologize, you went on another rant.

Kindness might be letting someone else have the parking space - they would not be holding up waiting traffic if you just pulled out instead of playing games because it is your "pet peeve" to have someone waiting for you to leave the space.

Yes, let's go back to our friendly POP discussions and put this issue behind us. 'Tis the season of kindness, forgiveness and joy!

Hey all..... I am leaving in 8 days to go on my Disneymoon finally(12 yrs late ) We stayed at POP in Sept with the kids. I loved staying in the 50's and walking 20 feet to the pool.... So this time i am going to let the CM's pick my place to stay in POP... See whatelse is to offer... I will try that Ruben flat bread for ya while i am down there and let you know.... Anyone been down recently? how are the crowds?

Let us know if you actually get your King Bed request. DH & I have requested king bed for our last 2 anniversary trips to POP & never got one.....in fact we've never gotten a king bed that we've requested at any value resort during our 20+ stays. Good luck...........enjoy your trip....

The CM made the request for me on the king size bed... I had forgotten to ask and called back and they said it was already requested... Gotta love those CM's.... PM me if you would like to meet up for a drink we always love meeting people and bsing.....

Hi, I tried to do a search for this thread but it didn't work. On the cake thread I read reports of getting the chef at Pop to make a cake for you and then it being delivered to your room. Have any of you done this before? I also read that they get their cakes from Boardwalk Bakery and then they are delivered to Pop. I'm not sure what to believe. Maybe the Pop experts on here can help me. Oh also, I'm not looking for the 6 in cake you ask for when you get there or at the podium of any restaurant. I want something a little nicer that i can request flavors and stuff since we're celebrating our 3rd anniversary. Thanks!

I was at Pop last Tuesday and Wednesday. Nothing new going on across the bridge. I even took pics and when I got home, I compared them to pics I took back in August and no changes.

We are leaving Friday for our first POP adventure too. We are so excited. My boys 5 and 3 are so excited too. Hopefully we will get a good view.
