NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

I'm having issues using BJ's. I placed 2 orders yesterday (wanted to hit different credit cards) and one of the orders (the larger one) keeps getting cancelled an hour after the order is placed. My first time using them.
Have a chat session and ask about the canceled order. They should submit a ticket to IT verifying you are making authorized transactions. Make a new order the next day and it should ship. If not, new chat session and ticket with IT.

I have a question about the paypal giftcards.com 5% offer up to $20. Can I bundle more than one gift card in a purchase at giftcards.com for a total of $400 to max out the offer? Will that come over as one transaction/payment? I ask because they have a Last Minute sale on some gift cards (not Disney unfortunately) that I might be interested in but the limits are only $100-$200 per card on the offers I am looking at. Can I buy several different cards at one time and use paypal to pay for a total of $400? Typically, I only order one set at a time to keep things cleaner if I have an issue, but was curious.

I'm assuming the paypal offer is for one purchase and not for multiple, but couldn't tell from the offer terms. Does anyone know?

If you don’t mind sharing, what is your go to source and method for getting the most DGC cards at the lowest cost through stacking throughout the year? I hear people here consistently getting 20% discounts, but I have never been able to hit that mark. I know there are many different buying opportunities, but what retailers and payment methods should a newbie focus on first? I would like to up my game in 2026. Thank you!
Since 2022 I have gotten between 11% and 18%. This past year, I wasn't too aggressive chasing some of the bigger discounts (e.g. paypal) and I saved a total of 14% on $1400 in gift cards. My purchases were a mixture of:
BJs using coupons, sometimes coinciding with sales
target and walgreens (cash app bonuses)
best buy - no sale but $25 off $250 on Amex
Best buy - recent sale and another $25 off $250 on Amex
CVS - chase offer 10% off $50

Most of my purchases were Best Buy and BJs.

My general rule is to buy gift cards throughout the year when I can get at least 10% since I can always get a guaranteed 5% from target.

Thank you for sharing your results @trenty. I ran my numbers for the year and my savings % was 13.99%, just shy of yours. I purchased a little over $7000 in DGC in 2025 from just four sources. The largest source was BJ’s (49%), followed by Sam’s, giftcards.com and Best Buy.

Only $500 was from Best Buy. I am considering adding Target as a source based on feedback here. If I do I will probably drop Best Buy. I don’t want to have to manage more than four sources.

My first ever DGC buy was November 22 of last year after learning here that buying discounted DGC is a thing. I am still learning the ropes and am immensely grateful to all of you for sharing selflessly. If anyone would like any details about my strategy and results, I would be happy to share as well.

Ugh. So upset with myself. Went to Target this morning and bought $100 gift card, three bags of Lindt chocolate marked 5.99 , and a couple of smaller items, which should have put me over the $120 I needed to get a $15 reward. Payed with my Redcard so really didn’t pay much mind to the total. I noticed I hadn’t gotten the reward a few hours later, although they usually hit my account before I get to my car.

Just checked my receipt. Two of the bags of Lindt must have been older. They had a different UPC although they looked exactly like the other one. They rang up for 4.49 rather than 5.99. First of all, that’s a hefty price increase. Secondly, it made my total $119.54. I missed my reward by forty six cents! 😭

Weird question...my local Shoprite is out of any DGCs. My kid was in the habit of grabbing empty gift cards bc he liked the pictures on them and bringing them home. I have a few of these generic variable load DGCs laying around...empty...not activated. I think you see where I'm going with this. I mean...it shouldn't make a difference to ShopRite if it came from their stock or who knows where it came from as long as I'm paying them to activate it...right? Is that weird? It feels like it should work but I'm also a little tepid about doing it. Thoughts?

In the app: select "my Target" / locate "Target Circle Benefits", select "Explore"/scroll down, select "Your activity"/select "view bonus details" - that screen shows how many Circle Rewards you earned for a specific bonus.
AND, on my account, scrolling way down, I see I redeemed all my circle rewards on Nov.14 - I earned a $10 reward on Nov. 16 - and after yesterdays purchase I have $30 in Circle Rewards. The "view bonus details" for Dec. 19 does not show I earned my $20 reward but I have $30 to redeem.:scratchin
OMG THANK YOU!!! I have been looking everywhere to track these details and couldn't figure it out.

Received a BJ’s email yesterday showing Disney $500 cards for 465.49. But if I purchase one, it shows the 472.74 price. Not sure if it was just an error on the email, but thought I would mention it in case it does work for someone else.

thanks. I received it yesterday as well and am receiving the same $472.74 pricing as the previous sale. Not sure if the chat would work or not since the bottom of the email states “Availability and pricing may change and vary by club and BJs.com” but it’s worth a shot.

Man, Target really had me going for a while there.

Both Hubby and I had bonuses pop up the 19th. His order was placed during the partial outage, eventually fulfilled late on the 19th, but bonus didn't credit as of yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, I did my order the morning of the 20th after everything was back up and running and my bonus wasn't credited as of yesterday evening either.

Both were email DGC that had arrived and transferred, so the orders were complete.

I woke up this morning to find everything credited in both accounts. Over 24 hours on his, so the longest I've had to wait, but all's well that ends well :-)

Same result. I'm basically done with BJ's.

Very much like mine.
Thank you! One more question— if I use my red card, can I buy $150 worth of DGC (so $142.50 on card) or must the total charged on the card be over $150?

Thx. I’m at boardwalk now. Got in super late last night (11pm). Can’t wait to get the day started with my DGCs!!!

It's the pre-red card total. So, $150 in DGC will trigger a $150 offer even though you're paying 142.50 on your red card.

Has anyone who used a Chase offer to buy dgc at Giftcards.com gotten their cash back credit yet? I added an offer on my Chase United Explorer card (one I no longer use and may ditch next year), and bought $1000 worth of cards on Dec 17. As in, I added the offer that day and immediately made a purchase. When I went to check the credit status yesterday to adjust the money budgeted to go to that card in my nerdy budget app, I noticed that the offer shows under “expired” as expired Nov 30. I don’t see how that’s even possible since it added to my card Dec 17, and hey, that’s $50 possibly not coming to me! Obvs I need to call Chase, but any insights here? (In other news, this is how I learned to take a darn screenshot of these things, but I digress.)

Of course yesterday was the day I deleted emails for the first time in months. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I looked at the 4 gift cards shown in your screen shot. Only the spa wellness one is that price. Are there any dates in the fine print? Seems strange 3 out of 4 aren’t showing the listed price.

I called chase for the November one expiring even though I made purchases on the 25th and they gave me my 50 dollars.

As another data point, with Target, I’ve consistently saved 15% on DGCs (except for the gift card bonus deal, where it worked out to 14.5%).

The Circle bonuses are as good as cash to me. They’re good for a year, good on everything except gift cards, and stack with whatever other deals or sales Target is offering at the time. There’s none of that funny Kohl’s cash math going on .

Ok, thanks - fingers crossed. I didn’t even know the offer was available until last week since I never use the card, so I’m still confused about why an expired offer was visible, but we’ll see!

ETA: called - the rep sent a request to “retroactively” (😑🙄) add the offer. Here’s hoping.
