I was born blond and it has just slowly gotten darker over the years. I've added blond highlights on occasion but I've been thinking of going with red highlights next time. I'm VERY bad about getting my hair done. I goes months without even getting it cut. Basically, Katrina or Becky harrass me until I get the appointment made and then they have to remind me to go.

I'm a very basic person. I take a shower in the morning which includes washing my hair, brush my hair, put on deodorant, brush my teeth, get dressed and I'm ready to go! I've tried different hair cuts with the intention that I'd style it (at least by blow drying it) and it never happens.

I KNEW we were twins!!:rotfl2:

That's exactly what I do!!

I got my hair cut.......ummmmmm......November!!:scared1: I do think it's about time. :confused3 :lmao:

We need prayers here: A local marching band(Alameda) semi carrying it's equipment jack-knifed this morning ending up on top of a car carrying some of the band members. The dad of one passed away. I am sure this will affect all of the marching bands around.

Prayers for all involved.

Deb - Is the putty stuck to the bedding, or did it leave grease marks? I can't remember if DS has ever owned Silly Putty. He must have at some point. Probably at Easter, because it comes in an egg!

We got most of the putty off, but there is still an orangish stain. I'm hoping that the laundry will get it out, but if not it was only the pillowcase that the Disney fairies brought him last year and the stain is on the back so it is still usable. There was a waterproof pad on his bed that also got some on it. It isn't a big idea if it remains stained.

Didn't you just get a new do a couple of months ago?
I had a touch up perm a few months ago. I've been letting it grow out, but I've had to pin it back in barretts at work lately and I don't look good with my hair pulled back. My normal untouched hair is a dirty blonde color and is super fine and super straight. She cut most of the perm out and gave me a modern messy look. I'm not sure if I can even stand it being messy, but I wanted something current. It is really pretty short now. I washed it earlier and didn't style it so I won't be posting pictures tonight. I'm pretty good about styling my hair, but it has to be a less than 10 minute style or it is a no go.

My hair is too thin for a claw clip or a pony tail. That's why I get it cut short usually and when it gets out of control and I can't stand it getting in my eyes, then I get it cut again. I don't like to wear hats (except camping and at Disney) so a baseball cap doesn't work for me. :lmao:

Yet more in common :rotfl:

Well things aren't any better here.....grandma has decided that she will be "sick" at supper because she really does think Abi is doing this on purpose.
Jim told me a little of what he said to her and what she said back...she just flabbergasts me.

One apt. we went to look at today was rented when we got there...but the other one might actually work better for us anyway...apts are definitely smaller than we are used to but there are no houses for rent around our area....we've downsized before we can do it again.

I went back to work today at my normal store, and still haven't seen my manager since before I went to Rehoboth the first time and I still found lots of things which were undone or should have been taken care of.:sad2: So I am not happy with her again. I think I just need to be like everyone else and stop caring about everything at work. It won't make a difference as my manager probably wouldn't notice.

Unfortunately Becky, we aren't made like that. From your posts, I can tell you are quite a bit like me in that area. I have felt the same way many times over the years. I tried a couple of times to stop caring but I was raised to do my best. It has brought much heartache for me at times because of the uncaring nature of others. However, I just could not stop doing my best. There was just something in me that was more unhappy that way.

It comes down to you have to either stop worrying that others don't meet the same standards or you have to move on to a new position. At least that is what I found over the years. In most cases, I stayed and eventually it caught up with the others while I moved up. There was an instance or two that I had to move on.

Hey, that's when I got mine cut. Katrina was home for Thanksgiving and made the appointment for me.

Well, the bunny has come. I also got a better rate for a rental at Alamo for our trip. I'm hoping for an even better rate, but happy to have something in place for part of our trip.

We lived in a motel for 5 months. That was my favorite time I think. It was so nice. The girls each had one box of toys, we had just enough clothes for a week, one lightweight coat, and one winter coat. It was such an easier time. And we were building our house so that's saying a lot!

It would be worth it to get out of the nasty atmosphere. That isn't good for anyone to have to live in for any length of time.

It's good you have a possibility. I hope something wonderful pops up before you need to make a decision.

I am going to be honest with you all.......I will be reading along but I don't promise I will post...real life stinks right now...this stuff with my grandparents is bugging me and there's other things......and I am just an emotional mess and I'm not even sure why (and no Jennifer it isn't what you think...not even a possibility;) )

So you all are in my thoughts and prayers:hug: ...hopefully this will be better in a couple of weeks.

Well, Chuck & I won't be getting a Toyota Tundra at least for two years. Chuck said that our suburban just wasn't going to cut it this summer. I was really hoping to not have a car payment for at least a year since we have just paid off all our car loans.

However, I want to go downstate for a week between the reunions and he says he isn't comfortable doing that with the suburban. He has been looking for a used vehicle to replace the suburban and we bought a used GMC Denali. It is pretty luxurious for what I'm used to. It has heated leather seats! I don't even know all the other bells & whistles it has. The main thing is that Chuck says we can use it for at least two years to pull the camper so we'll be good for our camping trip in June 2008.

The good news is that we might take the camper on a trip west or east this summer.

:grouphug: I'll miss you! Guess I will just have to call you and bug you!

I know, I care too much, don't know how to say no, etc. Today my co-worker said to me you went down there to work you came back and all you've done since I've been here is work. I said to her what do you think I am being paid to do? Sit on my butt and do nothing.:rolleyes1 I said we are all paid to work and not sit around doing homework, read magazines and talk on our cellphones. There are plenty of things to find to do around here, when it is slow. I said "If I don't do it, it it won't get done." She said yep because "Manager's name" isn't doing it.:sad2: I thought to myself yep, you probably won't do it either. This particular employee likes to sit around doing homework.

do you guys recognize this design?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...R40&satitle=+140105147066%09&category0=&fvi=1

I can't see continuing to design stuff when people are selling it on EBay

I am pretty sure that is LadyLucca's design. That is just not right!

Yup that is her design, and the princess one the person is selling too.

that is definately Ladylucca's design!!!

can anything be done?

My thoughts exactly on the copyright infringement. I doubt they will be there long.

I would pay with paypal. The seller then would not receive your card #. If you pay with your actual cc, then they have your cc number. That is one of the reasons, I like using paypal.

How sad for everyone on here who has given up so much of their time and talent that this is going on.

Good morning, DDA!

I tried to get on here quite a few times late last night and early this a.m. but either the Boards were down or my connection was wonky. I could access all the other websites I wanted to though... who knows?!?! But, I wanted to say to all of you:
