Do both use years have to have a qualifying or direct contract for this?
Some say yes, others have had no problem. I personally have all qualified memberships so I can’t test.

February seems like winter to me, so you should be good I would thinkIm wondering if I will catch the ski outfits in early February. I would love to and then I will be back in April for a new season of outfits.
Where I live we get more snow in Feb than Nov/Dec so I thinks too. Im excited!!February seems like winter to me, so you should be good I would think
I have 2 memberships one has direct points but not enough to qualify for a blue card, I could test it out. If I can figure out how to test it out. Just call and ask to buy MMB and OTUP?Do both use years have to have a qualifying or direct contract for this?
I think you need to call MS to test it.I have 2 memberships one has direct points but not enough to qualify for a blue card, I could test it out. If I can figure out how to test it out. Just call and ask to buy MMB and OTUP?
We had our photo taken in August at BWV on the village green! We had our pictures taken with at photopass photographer last year at CCV - that was in early October.
Don’t know if that was a one off or if they do come around the different resorts.
We saw photopass at CCV in May as well. Thought it was pretty cool.We had our pictures taken with at photopass photographer last year at CCV - that was in early October.

I don't think it matters when purchasing MMB since it's not attached to a membership, it's attached to the member. If you buy it online, you have it. It matters when trying to purchase the OTUP. The test would be trying to get BOGO OTUP on the membership that doesn't qualify for membership extras.I have 2 memberships one has direct points but not enough to qualify for a blue card, I could test it out. Yeah really the only reason to get a 2nd membership is to buy OTUP.I don't think it matters when purchasing MMB since it's not attached to a membership, it's attached to the member. Also can get two memory makers if you have two trips planned in a calendar yearYeah really the only reason to get a 2nd membership is to buy OTUP.
In June the photo pass photographers were at Boulder Ridge, in October they were at Contemporary/right after the skybridge from BLT, last month they were at Poly along the beach. So they are getting around to the different resorts! The memory maker covers ride photos and any taken by the Photo Pass photographers in the parks.
You simply tap your Magic Band or Key Card. You also get just ride photos if you buy Lightning Lane, but it doesn’t cover the other ones.
I have never seen the photo pass photographers at the resorts, except at the Grand during December to have it taken with the Xmas tree.
So there isn’t really options to use at SSR. I think it’s worth it so that!
Nope, even if you rent them out.Only if you need them.
as Yogi once said “A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore”As a good friend puts it: "Too much sugar for a dime."
Like because you have more than 5 people with you when traveling for the lounges? Im confused about the banking window and MMB.I wouldn’t say that. We have three and like it because it allows me to travel in my banking window without worrying.
But OTU points is a benefit!
Ah yes I forgot about that since I have the sorcerers pass and have the memory maker added to it.Also can get two memory makers if you have two trips planned in a calendar year

I wouldn't buy them to rent them either, just pointing out that even in the worst case scenario, the program is net-free.That's getting pretty close to not-worth-it territory. Costs are $14 and change per point. Rental proceeds are going to be in the $18-$20 range. After taxes, you are netting about $3-$5 pp, and I just don't want to do all that work for a hundo.
If you can use them---and most people probably can---they are a pretty good deal, You might not need them to justify it. But I would draw the line at buying them to rent them, personally. As a good friend puts it: "Too much sugar for a dime."
I was researching this a bit.I'll add a scenario- buy the OTUP, swap them into an existing reservation, and bank your regular points that just got freed up. Boom, extra points stored up that can book any resort- that's worth something.
For those of us with only ~150 points direct points, $10 OTUP points can be a game changer. This year the extra 96 OTUP points I've purchased have been wonderful for scratching the itch of staying at the cabins (3 nights), VDH (2 nights next year), getting an AP... all without sacrificing too many nights at RIV. Not to mention deferring add-on-itis!
