Have ya'll seen the Elimination Station video? OMG Joel is a jerk, he still itching with a B about the U turn and it looks like he made hell of everybody in Mexico, when the cops called he went off on them and throw Jeff under the Bus. Aghgh I can't stand him. :scared1:

::yes:: Oh, yes, he is such a jerk! How can his wife stand him?

Also, I completely missed the episode title ("they don't even understand their own language") when it was said during the episode. Who said it and when?

what's the addy for the elimination station again??

Joe is a sad, sad, little man. :sad2: I hope for his wife's sake he is not like this at home.

I was wondering about that too. :confused3 What a jerk, poor people they had to put up with his negative energy the whole time they were in Mexico :headache: and Jeff was just trying to help him understand and told him the truth but people like Joel can't stand the truth, he needs to be in Survivor with Russ hahaha oh popcorn:: :scared:

I think Joe needs to go to Dr. Phil and let it all out...or maybe Springer.

Brent said it referring to the taxi driver. I can't remember exactly when he said it tho.

He probably is  :scared: a control freak, crazy egocentric who thinks that he is the best thing ever created :worship:

Holy Smokes! What a nut! Can you imagine what it must have been like dealing with him all this time? It is a surprise to me that someone did not paste him all over a wall. It is going to be interesting how the conversation will go when he talks to teh cops, I think they will elaborate on that little bit of bragging andn how that affected his completeing the race. Throwdown!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised that Jeff didn't pay one of those Mexican wrestlers to come rough him up. :rotfl2:

Another reason as to why we need to have a reunion show. It would be great to see someone give that idiot a smackdown.

So Jeff has to defend his comment to Joe about the U-Turn "must have been personal". One of the cops admitted that the comment that Joe made in the bus bugged him. He said "you don't say that in front of another guy and expect no consequences". They also complimented him and told him he was a tough competitor (which is what Joe wanted to hear.) I agree, Joe is insufferable. Although, Jeff's comment about if Joe had gone to China, he would have had an unfair advantage - that I don't agree with. Joe would have had an advantage, but there's nothing unfair about it. Racers in the past have used their knowledge of other languages to their advantage, but I see nothing "unfair" about it. It's just the luck of the draw.

You're right. If my sister was ever a contestant, she'd have an advantage almost everywhere. She speaks 6 languages fluently and is working hard to master Thai. She also dabbles in about a dozen or so other languages and could probably hold her own in most countries. She is just amazing with languages.

I don't think that is any more fair or unfair than having specific characteristics to make the teams interesting. What she has in languages, she lacks in other things like physical strength and math. Each team has their own niche of advantages.

Edited to add: should AR not allow beautiful people to compete since they tend to have an advantage with people wanting to help them?

I just caught up with the show online. I am sad that the cops are gone and Brent and Caite are left. I will be bummed if they win.

No special dinner on Sunday. We went to Milwaukee for a swim meet and ended up at the Safe House for dinner.

The finish line is in San Francisco. Crab and sourdough?

I was also wondering if the get to keep the stamp? :confused3 it would be cool to have one with your name on it. :thumbsup2 Was last year the year of the pig?
No, the year of the Pig was when we were in China in 2007. They probably had a lot of extras :).

I like the cowboys first, the models second, and the brothers third.

The brothers annoy me with their "bro" this and "bro" that! Plus they're kinda whiny.

YUP!

Add some Ghiradelli chocolate and you're all set! (he-he, I don't think Rice-a-Roni is made in SF any more, but it was always the "San Francisco treat"!)

I was wondering what to have on Sunday evening for dinner. Since it's Mother's Day, my kids will be fixing me brunch at my house, but by dinnertime, we'll be on our own....and DH doesn't cook, but we could do crack our own crabs!
