THE AMAZING RACE 15, Season Starts 09/27/09

Oh yeah, we were cracking up too. What did they ultimately end up with again? Gnome Trotter?

I think that is what they named it, yes.

Did anyone notice that Matt (Pinky) was sitting on his gnome when his dad found the flag? It didn't look comfortable either. lol

Hahah! No, I had not noticed that! I can't imagine that would be comfortable at all.

I noticed Matt was sitting on the gnome too. It was was upside down though...he was not sitting on the peak of the hat. :lmao: He had the peak in the ground and was sitting on the flat bottom.

I love the globetrotters too but the other teams don't. I think it was the brothers that asked them if they had fans help them find the way to the farm. : This was after some of them had taxi show them the way. :sad2:

Yes, I should've mentioned that it was upside down. I hadn't even thought about people thinking he sat on the hat. omg :lmao: Thanks for clarifying!

I noticed that question too about having fans help. From what I've seen, the GTs do just fine getting from Point A to Point B without getting help so why would he make a rude comment like that to them?

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

My fav's are the Trotters. I was so glad that Pinky and the Brain is still in this, they are awesome!

I am not fond of the other couples between the yelling and the whining and the crying they are on my last nerve.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who finds some of the "couples" irritating.

Because he thinks they are getting an unfair advantage. They are getting help because of who they are, not just an American asking for directions. They are usually wearing something that says GT's on it. Yesterday it was jackets. So far, I don't recall seeing any footage of any one from any country giving them help because of their profession. Anybody from any team can ask for help. Heck in the All-Star season, more than one team got help because someone ID'd them from their previous season. Does wearing the gear draw more attention to them...yes, but the brothers could have went out an bought NY Yankee shirts, hat, and jackets and worn those. Now many people from a different country would or wouldn't know for sure that you didn't really play for that team? For most, they see a name or symbol that they know is famous and could possibily offer you help.

I just think the brothers are flat out scared that the 'Trotter boys can beat them at physical challenges.

I figured the gnome has to be upside. The alternative would bring back flashbacks of the Vlad the impaler task from last year!!!! :)

The twins are just hating. They know the GTs are a some big competition. They've said before that if it comes down to a foot race, they know the GTs will win it.

And yes, the GTs have done just fine on their own without the help of fans. As they stated in last night's episode, they are used to traveling around the world. I'm sure that is helping them be successful NOT random fans. Of course, all the traveling in the world didn't help them learn to read a clock. :rotfl2:

No--but that's cute too.

It was Harlem something....

but I forgot what the "something" was.

Looks like we'll get to see that foot race next week!!

First time poster to this thread (but I read the whole thing!). Funniest quote last night.

"They don't have bales of hay in the hood".

The Trotters kept such a positive attitude the whole leg even when behind and frustrated. I'm so glad that they came in first. :thumbsup2

Wasn't it one of the Globetrotters birthday?
I was hoping he would say how old he was.
When Phil told them, they won a trip, Phil said where it was and Big Easy said, "Nice Birthday Trip" and the other one said, "where is the place".
I just assumed it was in the Caribbean.

The scene reminds me of the Kentucky couple on the season that Rob and Amber originally appeared.

I'm remembering a boardwalk and a run and a stumble. Probably not the same location though.

It's when the wife hurt her ankle.

It is in teh Caribbean-but I thought it was funny. Like--birthday boy wasn't sure if it was a good thing until his friend confirmed that he knew the location and the prize was good.:lmao:

ETA: oops-hate when i space too early and the ending t from one word merges with the next word and makes a dis-unfriendly world. *blush* oops.

Yep, it was Flight Time's birthday! Their reward was Turks and Caicos

I'm liking the GT more each week. Between their dancing last week and naming the gnome this week, I just love their attitude. They are out there having a good time, and I think it is refreshing.

The twins were quite annoying last night. I wonder if it is because the girls are gone. Which raises more "decoy" questions? Do they race the same course and at the same time?

Pinky & the Brian will have there work cut for them next week. They will be over 2 hours behind at the start before they even have to do their task!
:confused3 It seems like the GT's are everyone's favorite team. They and Pinky and the Brain seem to be the only one's left who are enjoying themselves!

Totally! I get that the race is serious and you are there to win. But if you can't have fun and take it all in along the way, what's the point?

I think that is why both those teams are folks favorites. You can easily see what a blast they are having running around the world doing crazy stunts.

Maybe Brian and Erica will misread a clue that gives them a costly time delay.
