THE AMAZING RACE 15, Season Starts 09/27/09

Globetrotters were first.

Then Meghan and Cheyne. Meghan found the flag and hid it in her pocket. She psyched Cheyne, crying that she couldn't do this any more and then pulled the flag out and ran past him.

Brian and Ericka were third. Sam and Dan fourth. And Pinky and the Brain came in last but it was non-elimination - THANK GOODNESS!

This hay bale thing is totally luck. I mean you have 184 bales of hay and only 7 have flags. It's totally luck.

Could you imagine how Mika would've been in tonight's episode? I mean there was a ferry, heights, and a very damanding challenge. Of course, Canaan would've had to do everything -- again.

Very happy it was a non-elimination leg :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Nice to have the Pit Stop right at that horribly hard challenge :thumbsup2

Oh, Thank You so very much! I'm glad it was a non-elimination week tonight because I would have missed "Pinky and the Brain". lol I realy like the Globetrotters but am get a little tired of yelling Dan and complaining Meghan.

I hoped it would be a non-elimination stage. It was such a daunting task I kind of thought they wouldn't eliminate anyone as long as they finished, I'm glad they didn't.

I can't wait to see Tallinn next week, that is a place I really want to visit.

Can someone give me a recap on tonights episode please. My DVR missed the last 22 minutes.
On our DVR, when I set up a series recording, I can tell it to record up to 30 minutes past the scheduled ending. Very helpful during football season! (but sometimes even 30 minutes extra isn't enough.)

My fav's are the Trotters. I was so glad that Pinky and the Brain is still in this, they are awesome!

I am not fond of the other couples between the yelling and the whining and the crying they are on my last nerve.

Sometimes an hour and a half doesn't cover it! LOL! I wish they'd change the day it's on.

I have to remember to reset my DVR each week because I can't set it to automatically record more each week. When I reset it, I set it for 2 hours since that's what it took a few weeks ago. Better to be safe when you enjoy a show.

I was happy with the outcome.

Boy, with the one brother, was it Dan? Yelling at his brother, telling him what to do. Yikes! Control issues, much?

I told DH as they started the task that I figured this would be a non-elimination leg. I loved that the pit stop was right there (and had it been a repeat of Season 6, Phil would have already been there. ;) )

My three girls have been to that neck of the woods with their choir in 2007. In fact, my youngest (15) is headed back to Estonia (and Tallin) next July. I wonder if they will show the huge music stadium?

Loved the Pinky and the Brain description!

Oh, and that's the advantage of living in Canada. CTV doesn't do the football, so AR always starts at 8:00, on the dot! :thumbsup2

Me too...that was an extremely difficult task and it's all about luck. It would have a shame to send someone home after spending all that time in the field.

I hear ya! Last night it was only delayed 20 minutes but it's still a pain. It used to be on Tuesday night at 10pm I think but CBS has changed the time several times.

My TIVO is ste for 2.5/3 hours I believe. (yes, I had one AR where I missed the end b/c the buffer wasn't big enough. Now we are good!)

I'm glad it was non-elimination. That challenge just stinks!

I wouldn't have been able to do it as I have a SEVERE grass allergy. I was nearly sneezing just watching it.:lmao: (and yes--hay is a grass!)

I enjoyed the leg. Glad I wasn't there though.

rather than fooling around with the time, I have my DVR set for TAR and 3 rivers. I just have to find TAR on the days that I am not there to watch it.

I kept thinking about myself having to do that. My nose would have been running like an open faucet and my eyes would have been swollen almost shut. I can be around grass/hay, but I can't play with it for very long without bad results.

It makes me wonder if allergies (or lack thereof) are considered as a prerequisite for being in the race.

Don't know--they consider phobias, so why not.:lmao:

My DH would have done the challenge though. The smell of hay is just too strong for me. That and fresh cut grass = :scared1: for me.

Yeah, but I do hope he learned something. It seems like he did. He was very emotional at the mat saying that he knew his yelling was soooo not helping.

I hope pinky & the brain can pull themselves out of last place next week. Doesn't look too promising though.... "candle-eh-brah" :confused3 No, dear "candle-ahh-bra". Beauty queen & hubby can be the next to go, IMO.

we totally agree over here. We said last night that would be happy with either of them winning. :goodvibes
