I just got back from Target. I bought new towels and cup holders for our bathroom. We've been here two years and our towels didn't match the new house. I'm going to try and wash them before K gets home and act like I don't know what he's talking about when he asks if they're new! :lmao:

[/COLOR]
You crack me up about the towels and not telling K. I have had entire rooms painted in our old house and P never ever realized:lmao: :lmao:
In our current house I had my laundry room repainted and it took him quite a while to realize it..ooooppppps!!!:lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: He'll notice, I'm sure, when he pays bills and wonders why I was Target for the 4th time this week! :faint: I bought my first toaster oven yesterday at Target! :rotfl2: It's beautiful. :lovestruc
K's the painter, so I guess that wouldn't work. I was wishing he would paint this weekend, but we're supposed to be having fun, and I don't think he'll think that's fun. :sad2:

Kirt plans on fiddling with my computer, but I'm going to try and make sure he doesn't do it in the morning so I can get everyone's morning greeting posted each day. :thumbsup2

Have fun shopping! :goodvibes

Is this for a private school? I have never heard of it, but it sounds interesting.

Isn't it fun to shop and NOT have to pay for it! I love when my friends hand me down their nice stuff!:thumbsup2

Jen's FOCKER Questions of the Day

What kind of car do you drive? Why do you like it (or not)?

What is your favorite beverage (adult and/or regular)?

And now one for the brain:
At Central High School, the math club has 15 members and the chess club has 12 members. If a total of 13 students belong to only one of the two clubs, how many students belong to both clubs?

ANSWERS
A. 2
B. 6
C. 7
D. 8
E. 12

First of all, Moms in Touch groups can be for any school. Our system has groups for about half the schools. They're totally parent led. In fact, we aren't allowed to advertise at the school or through the school newsletter. So, it's purely by word of mouth. My neighbor (the one with breast cancer) told me about the group when DD7 was going into kindergarten and I've tried to attend since. It really does make me feel better. And today I found out that my DD7's 2nd grade teacher used to be in a MIT group when her oldest was in high school. That makes me happy. :cutie:

Answers to your questions:
1. Pontiac Montana minivan -- it has a DVD player built in for those trips to grandma's house ( ), but the girls want it on all the time (:headache: )

2. I can't live without my diet Coke. I don't drink adult beverages very often, but I do like margaritas pretty well!

3. C (glad to see Dawn got that one right!)

Sad news today. My grandma passed away last night. I prayed that she would be sent straight into my grandpa's arms. They were married 63 years and today, in heaven I hope they dance together today. She was an awesome lady. Even a Rosie the riveter during WWII! She had the best laugh and somehow made even salad taste amazing.

Deb, I will add your family to my prayer list. It's great that you have such fond memories of your grandmother and the assurance that she's dancing with her husband right now!

I like unsweet tea and for an adult drink, I love me some Cosmos. :lovestruc

Aren't you from the South, Dawn? Don't all Southerners love sweet tea??

I also just got a text from Mel saying that her and Bob are eating cheeseburgers at the Pop pool. :cloud9:

I hope they're feeding Flat Jodi too! She loves her some cheeseburgers!

Well, we ended up taking DH out for lunch after the meeting (Arby's) and then ran to Wal-Mart. DD4 was so excited because I bought her some Strawberry Shortcake underwear! :confused3 I also picked up some burgers and buns for dinner tonight. The girls want to watch the new Cheetah Girls movie that premieres on Disney Channel tonight, so we're going to have popcorn:: and :happytv: tonight.

I'm too lazy to break it all into separate quotes...
That's great that her 2nd grade teacher was a member too.

Yes, I'm a native Texan and I do like sweet tea every once in a while. But most of the people here make it too sweet. I swear I can feel my teeth rotting when I drink it. :headache:

We plan on watching the Cheetah girls movie too. K wants to go buy a new t.v. and B wants it ready for the movie tonight. :sad2: I'm sure he'll be happy to do that. :lmao: It'll be our first HDTV and he's worked hard for it. So, I'm happy for him.

Now that DH is getting home in a minute, I may not be on as much. But I will check in often, I'm sure. :goodvibes

I love our new HDTV. It's been awesome to watch the Olympics on. And I can't wait for football to really start so that I can watch my boys on the big screen! What size are you getting? We got a 46" and it's great!

It's a 42"- if we can find one. I'm on the phone trying to track one down.

Okay- Well, now it looks like we're going to a store 35 minutes away so we can get this t.v.and them back here to buy the stand. I'm sure we'll need to go to Walmart for the wall mount too. :sad2: I'm tired. I can stay home alone (:guilty: ) or ride with K to do all these things. So, I guess I'm outta here. :headache:

See you chicks later... :goodvibes

No ones lights are on, but I am home from a lunch date w/ daddy.. the kids loved it. Then I went to...

WALMART:scared:

Being that we are the home of Target, they are just not too popular... or kept up well. But I needed to try to find some Pokemon folders... which they had... NONE! But I did end up buying a few things. CARP, all CARP. I tried to find T's self laminating paper in rolls, but they had none of that too. Go figure. That store was a MESS! Merchandising is NOT their middle name. :scared:

I have to get off my butt and go and prepare for my scrap night. I think I am going to prep all of my pages, so I am not spending time messing around. Jen's gotta get down to BUSINESS!

I forgot to answer my own darn questions.

I drive at Volvo XC90 (the SUV). I love it, but really wish my DH wouldn't have made me get the light leather. It is a mess with TINK in the car. Also, I wish it had an automatic lift in the back. The next years model has it. :headache:

My favorite bevies: LOVE diet sodas. Not particularly the "reg" kinds. I really like Diet A&W~ rootbeer or cream soda, Diet sunkist orange or lemonade. :yay:

Adult bevies: mmmmm... I love me some Pinot Grigio, Esp. Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio and second would be Pomegranate Martini's! :worship:

Question # 3. I DO know the answer too. I want more FOCKERS to try it out!

I haven't used it yet!!!:lmao: It's so pretty, though. It's on sale for $35 at Target and it's larger for our family of 5.
See?

We have one that sits on the cabinet. We use it daily, so I leave it there and it is too big to move. I found one with brushed stainless, so it at least kind of blends in.

You will love it! They are great for sticking things to cook and not heating up the whole oven. I even keep mine on low when I am making pancakes or waffles and keep them warm, as I cook more.

2. Jen (Friday)
3. Theresa (Saturday)
4. Jodi (Sunday)
5. TE (Monday)
6. Jen2 (Tuesday)
7. Carrie (Wednesay)
8. Mrs. The King (Thursday)
9. Rosie (Friday)
10. Rachel (Saturday)
11. Dawn (?)

We'll do the "Getting to know you" questions in this list order. So, some of our girls better show up soon to say "hi" and find their day!

Hi I see I am Friday is that this Friday or next ? Anyway I will start
My given name is Rosalie, Mum was going to name me Caroline or Carolyn but there were so many others being given that name, she toyed with naming me after my Dad.s Mum and her aunt and combining them into Evanna:rotfl2: but was afraid I would be called Fanny which has a not so nice meaning in England , ask Jo~!! :lmao: So I was named Rosalie !!
The most daring thing I did or perhaps stupid is a better choice is riding on someones lap in the front seat of a sportscar as we did 100 and yelling faster!!Incidently that was hitch hiking, also one time hitched a ride in an ambulance :rotfl:
More to follow........
