Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 hmmm... will I get kicked off 😭 😭 if I share this time next week in Yuma it will be 92 degrees 🌞🌞🌞🌞🦂🤯🤯😱😱😱
We're supposed to be headed to Phoenix in a few weeks to see my beloved Raptors play the Suns. Not quite as enthused about the trip as we once were. I've been putting off booking hotels and a Grande Canyon excursion but we're probably still going due to the sunk costs already in. At least hopefully we'll get pool weather, which may be a bit of a different standard for us than you. ;)

Well.. chain lodging should have heated pools for the visit....our casino resort has it heated as well as HOA sites... but weather should be perfect in March... just a blip

That's crazy snow, Jane! I didn't think we had much, but it's about knee-deep in my front yard. We are hunkered down for winter and it's turning into a long semester, but, whatever. DH and I are car-hunting... I totaled mine in early December, pulling into a parking space, hit ice, bumped into the building, and the airbags engaged. The insurance company sent more money than the repair was estimated to be, so at least we have a good chunk-o-change to put into the next car. I'm looking at two, but I think we'll go with the brand new vehicle, which is only about $4500 more than the 3 year old one with 38000 miles. Tomorrow is decision day, after we do a test drive. Fingers crossed that it all works out!
Yes, the snow has been a challenge! Our driveway is still half filled in.. sigh. Too heavy for the snow blower. Hoping for a bit of a melt this week.

I'm visiting my sister in southern Maine. Trader Joe's in Portsmouth NH has eggs for $3.49 a dozen. That is HALF of what I can get them for at home. The catch at TJs is that you can only buy one dozen at a time. We each bought a dozen yesterday and we'll swing by again today, hoping they still have eggs.

On Friday, I have to report for Jury Duty selection. The notice says to keep all weekdays uncommitted from now until MAY 2nd! I know I won't have to serve all of those days, but jeez... usually they tell you to keep a month free, not two months. A friend who works for the courts (different jurisdiction) says they do this sometimes when they anticipate a "big" trial coming up, that is expected to either take a long time, or require sequestration. Great. The good news, I guess, is that we leave for Disney on May 3rd (taking the little guy for his first trip) so at least this won't mess up my vacation!

Thanks! It's a fun little car. I know this style isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. I was also a big fan of the PTCruiser and we know how most folks felt about those! It's OK, I'm happy and old enough not to care when others throw shade, hahaha!
My sister just bought a red one to replace her 14 year old Nissan Cube. I still have my Cube for now (11 years old, 117k miles), but they don't make them anymore and the Soul is the closest thing.
