I am! I just finished lunch, and I'm enjoying a delicious bunch of grapes!

Snow storm. No sleet or freezing rain in my area. Snowing pretty good right now. They said 14-24 inches but I don't think we will get near 24. Hard to tell though. We made it home from my OMT appt. My husband drove. I would have rescheduled if he couldn't take me.

Mmmmmm grapes. I got to have some last week b/c they were on sale for .99 lb. Back to bananas and a cheap bag of apples this week.

That's how much they cost here too! But the sale ended yesterday and they shot back up to $2.49 a pound! Glad I bought 4 lbs!

Grape prices around here are higher. They are more likely to go on sale for $1.99. .99 lb doesn't happen very often and I was pretty excited. They were green and pretty tart, but I didn't care. I guess I need to think about making supper.

It won't be 24 inches. It's still snowing pretty hard though. I just had to walk away from the news. I know why I don't usually watch. It's too depressing. Some people wonder why I watch what they call crap on TV. That's how I like to unwind at night and escape from reality. One thing I hadn't heard before watching the news tonight is that there is talk of the Post Office delivering mail 5 days a week instead of 6. It's not Sat they were thinking of cutting. It's a day midweek.

But tonight caught our attention because they were talking about the stimulous package. We seem to escape into reality TV to unwind. I guess it helps the unwinding process when you are yelling at the TV.

The stimulous package is what got our attention. I like a lot of reality TV too. My media center on my computer is no longer working and there are shows I like on at the same time. I don't even know if I have a blank VCR tape I could use to record. Hell's Kitchen starts soon and it's on the same time as CSI. American Idol is on with NCIS. I'm also looking forward to Survivor and Amazing Race to begin. Oh and I watch Top Chef.

I do know what you mean about temp changes. One year we were camping when my daughter was a baby, we had her in a diaper b/c it was so hot. 2 days later she was in a cloth snowsuit. Must always be prepared with lots of clothes.

I am watching Idol in bed to stay warm. My heat is down to 56 for the night. I need to be very careful so we don't run out of oil before next week.
