If you already have a reservation and now want to add the AP discount, do they cancel the existing one and the need a new deposit for the AP discount reservation?

No. You keep the same reservation number.

Just saved over $200.00 over the GP reservation I had and over $1000.00 from the rack rate rates for the Poly. Maybe not as good as previous years, but I'll take it.

Booked one night at Wilderness Lodge before our offsite stay. $234 is HIGH but for one night I'll take it.

Do you think this means that the rooms are filling up? Hours have just been extended for our May trip greatly which means more guests must be expected and now a much smaller discount for summer.

Oh well, not sure if a summer trip is in our future or not. Airfare still looks pretty good, but we were hoping for 40% off villas.

Just got off the phone with a nice cm who workout some vacation plans of mine and told me it might be better for me to wait until April 20th when AP discounts are announced. Even told me to expect the same 25/30/35 type of deals we've been seeing. Don't know if he was full of it but I sure hope not

We did club level at AKL a few years ago when there was an outrageous special going on that made it silly NOT to stay club level. If you will be at the resort for breakfast, lunch and evening, like to try the wines they serve and don't have the dining plan, I think it's totally worth it. Think it might be overkill with the dining plan, but we may try it just for the heck of it, have to do the number crunching. This is a 'last' trip for us. The next time we go to WDW it will be in 2014 as Florida Residents and hopefully WDW employees!

Thanks for looking up the prices for me. I'm off to run the numbers one final time and make a decision as to which way to go!
