Can you board your cat with the vet? Some vets around here (maybe most of them?) board animals. You seem to like your vet, maybe you'd feel better knowing your cat would be with somebody familiar with her history and current condition. Probably more expensive than a standard kennel but worth it for the peace of mind.
I don't think she could handle being boarded. I don't think I could handle her being boarded. I did ask the vet this morning if they had any pet sitters and she said some of them working there do that and would see about availability. I may go that route.
I am about losing it. This trip has been off and on for SO long, we finally decide to just do it, but of course this would happen. There will always be something though, but still. I don't think I can take it.
I don't know what it is, but I'm not sure I can really have a pet these days. I think it's just this one. She's special. They're all special, but she's...you know.
