Does anyone know the specifics of this deal. Usually there is a better discount at the deluxe resorts vs the values. I have a family member that is a CM and I am curious which would be the better deal.
I just got off the phone with Disney and my savings is $471. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. She sounded very confused and I had to wait awhile for her to figure it out. She told me that Wilderness has a 20% savings and all of the monorail resorts have a 5%. We were hoping to upgrade to Grand Floridian, looks like we are staying put! I wonder what resort has a 30% discount?
I called about 30 minutes ago and held for only 3 or 4 minutes before my call was answered. I was told that the code that I had was for room only (despite what I saw on Mousesavers) and that I could add tickets but not the dining plan. Mousesavers says that you can definitely add the dining plan. Oh and the price that I was quoted? The exact same thing as rack rate for both the room and the tickets. I'll call back later and get a different CM.

I have no clue why I got through so quickly. My entire phone call was only 24 minutes and 6 seconds. That's hold time and everything. She even had to go back in the system and put in my address and phone number since she said that it wasn't there any more. She tried applying the VP2 code and then was confused when it wouldn't let me add dining. Most of my time was spent waiting to see why she couldn't apply the code if I wanted dining.
