Sneaking alcohol into MK

But hey, the drinks in the parks are expensive..sounds like an innovative way to save money by sneaking a few in. But maybe he doesn't know that MK is one the parks where drinking is sort of....ummmm....frowned upon though. ;)

The OP knows the person they are discussing better than any of us and maybe he is an alcoholic, we don't know that for sure...I kinda doubt it though because he would probably already know how to sneak it in and wouldn't pull out a flashy "flask" and risk getting caught. He probably wouldn't even talk about it much ahead of time...he would just do it. If its that bad and he hasn't learned how to "handle" his accused drinking problem, I'm sure he is use to getting thrown out of public places...I'd let him deal with it on his own and if things go south just walk away.

In the meantime, I'll be over in EPCOT having my once a year round of drinks while on my vacation. Don't arrest me, throw me out or commit me to AA...and don't give me the evil eye when my flight of drinks are brought by the waiter...I promise I won't operate heavy equipment, run over kiddies or talk loudly. And if I sneak anything in no one will know. ;) Watch out World, here we come!! :lmao:

I don't understand why they don't sell alcohol in MK. You can buy it everywhere else. They will just throw it away. My father in law brought in vodka in a water bottle and made a cocktail at dinner. I wouldn't worry about it. Have fun!:yay:

It is against Disney rules to bring alcohol into the Magic Kingdom (I actually think you can't bring it INTO any of the parks).

It is against the rules of this board to discuss ways around Disney's rules.

OP, I would tell your family member that if they insist on doing this, that you will see them later. I would not want to hang around someone who seems to think that the rules don't mean him. Honestly, he just needs to deal and get over the idea.

you do know if your caught you could face a good bit of legal action?

Nah, I don't think so. More like chewed out.

I'm guessing those kind of people don't want to hang around with you, either.

Good.

And why is it a bad thing to be against this sort of thing? It seems every time someone posts something like this, those that are against the rule breaking are made fun of. I don't claim to be perfect, but I will not support someone willing to do something so blatantly against policy.

I usually smuggle something in with me to turn my Dole Whips into something yummier and more potent.

Then I commandeer the handicap bathroom, lock the door, and blaze up until I have decimated several million brain cells.

Then I satisfy my munchies on 5 or 6 of those delicious turkey legs.

Usually, by this time, I am ready for a nap and crawl off to me room to sleep it off for the rest of the day.

Magic Kingdom is awesome!

Amateur. The real hardcore folks bring their 2004 reusable mug full of rum and Disney resort Coke. If you let your 9 year old carry it in his stroller, nobody will even check it.

Typical aloholic reaction...I cant spent a day without drinking ......so everyone else is wrong in following a tradition in the MK .........no drinking.

I can drink everywhere else in WDW..........but everyone else is wrong in saying you can't drink in MK.

Sheeeeeeeesssssssh.......

PS I do enjoy a drink or 2 or 3 in the other parts of WDW, so don't justife your drinking problem by saying anyone against drinking in the MK, isn't a drinker!

AKK

Sounds like you drink more than the tiny bottle of kalua I plan on taking for my hot chocolate during the MVMCP...*gasp* you must be an alcoholic!! Last I heard, it's the amount you drink, and the inability to stop drinking that makes one an alcoholic.........not because of the LOCATION you chose to drink.

The posts about breaking rules, I understand....yada yada yada, yeah I plan on breaking a rule...call the MK booze police......but being called an alcoholic?! Again, ridiculous!!!

LOL :lmao:

Rules are everywhere, not just at Disney. For example, if you drive one mile per hour over the speed limit you are breaking the rules, whoops I mean the law, which is a rule. I'm sure this applies on Disney's sacred grounds as well. Maybe you'll get caught, get a ticket, maybe you won't.

You know... I most often follow the "rules" pretty closely whatever they may be if they apply to me. But some folks on these boards are so perfect and they are so uptight about Disney "rules" they probably even walk funny because they are so stiff after posting.

Just reading such posts makes me want to break the rules, or at least talk about breaking them. :happytv:

You can also smuggle in booze by soaking it in gummy bears!! I saw a special on TV about it the other night.

:rotfl: Nine year old in the stroller?!! There's another can of worms!!

The one year old is in the stroller. But I do smuggle the weed in his diapers, so who's the amateur?

I plan on bring one small airline bottle of kalua to Slip into my hot chocolate during MNSSHP. Not to get drunk, but just to add a little punch to it and keep me warm. :goodvibes.

1. Where is everyone getting these airline bottles of liquor? I ask b/c I had free drink coupons from SW and tried to redeem them on unopened bottles. The flight attendant told me they had to open the bottles, they couldn't give me unopened bottles. Why do they care anyway? Is that a law or something?

(I know you can buy them at liquor stores and mini bars but I really want to know if there's an airline that will just give them to you sealed).

2. I want to start a thread dedicated to Cake Vodka recipes...mmmm. I'll start, Pineapple Upside Down Cake = 1 part UV cake vodka and 2 parts pineapple juice.

Sorry, that's just what I call them, because I think that's what they are meant for.....I will buy it at a liquor store and bring with me. I looked up some of those Cake Vodka recipes online, and the one mentioned by another poster who works as a bartender sounded delicious.
