I wanted to send a SMALL and LIGHT-WEIGHT box down pre-trip with a few small gifts in it for the kids (for under the tree.)

Can I ship it to SSR pre-trip? Will Bell Services hold it? What do I write on address (just SSR address with attention my name?). Will they charge me for holding? How early should I send?

So many questions... sorry!:)

They will allow it and hold it for you. Make sure you write your name and arrival date on the package. They should not charge you for it. Have fun!

UPS and FedEx have shipping calculators that will help you decide when to ship.

I put a label on each side of the box saying:

Hold for __________ (guest name)

Arrival date: ______________

Reservation Number: ___________

I put it on each side because if they store it with the label on the wrong side where it can't be read it might not be found right away. I have never been charged and never had an issue getting my box (in three trips).

I usually allow a week from shipping to delivery (via Fed Ex) but last time it got there in two days!

I shipped a LARGE box (44 Lbs) via UPS filled with our Owners Locker contents to SSR and it was no problem. I used UPS because I could track it for free. Shipped from Maryland "two day" on a Monday and it was delivered on Wed. (we were going on Fri. so I just wanted to be sure it had an extra day). SSR is not a convention resort so they do not charge to hold packages at Bell Services. I printed the delivery confirmation & brought it with me to give to the front desk just in case there was any questions. They were a little confused for a couple of minutes but then found it.

Per the instructions given to me by SSR staff prior to shipping I noted the name that the reservation was in, the ressie confirmation # and our arrival date on the outside of the package.:thumbsup2
