Bon soir Sassies!
Checking in after a long, but fun day. "Make & Take a Shaker" (say that 5 times fast) went very well. I was shakered out after 3 hours of maracas, and roughly 5 performances of "Oats, Peas, Beans & Barley Grow." That song makes me extra-thankful for the Industrial Revolution.
Funny anecdote: I was making small talk w/ the music teacher, who was also Reece's music teacher when he was in preschool 7 yrs ago, and I asked her if they still made the "rain sticks" that he had made when he was there. IN the most even-keel, non-chalant voice ever, she said "Oh no. We stopped that when one of the students stepped on it and got a nail in his foot."

I had no idea there were NAILS in that thing! Reece played with it every day for months. That would've been good to know.
Angie-- that is by far the hottest picture I have seen in a while. OMG. Is it just me, or is it warm in here?

And I'm seriously contemplating Christmas decorations, only my house is still torn up from the flood. May wait until repairs are finished. Which would require some ACTUAL workmen to ACTUALLY show up and do some ACTUAL repairs.
Bex-- You ARE going to decorate Chet, right? His antlers positively scream for ornamentation. And I am so happy those men were found.

What a miracle.
Wilma-- I'm thanking you FOR those parents! Who knew a couple of handfuls of grain in a water bottle could be so irritating?
Mel-- Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like a little Yuletide puppy pee!

I'm really glad you're settling in down there & like your job. Is DH missing Beantown though, or does he like it too?
Tricia-- congrats on the weigh-in. Sometimes, not gaining as much as you'd thought is as exciting as losing! Personally, I'm amazed my behind doesn't have its own Zip Code after the amount of Halloween candy I have sucked down.
