Good morning Sassies!

I just want to thank Judi for keeping all that white stuff up her way. I knew they were wrong about us getting lots of snow. Closer to the lake was hammered yesterday, but we escaped. Lake effect is so fickle! You just keep it up there Judi and all will be well!

I need new ideas for teacher gifts this year. I'm stumped!

We don't have this snow Tricia It was spose to stop at Wexford county. 10 miles east of us, a dusting.

This is a early hit, even for us. We now have 2 houses to dig out again.

Morning Becca. I haven't bought one teacher gift yet this year. I'll take suggestions too. Same for my hair lady, Kendall's gymnastic coach etc.

Up here for teachers, B&BW hand cream is a big hit. Between the dry heat, all the hand washing and handling paper, your hands dry out quickly.

How's the job market in your area Mel? I think I could handle Georgia or Tennessee, its still much warmer than Michigan!

Depending on what you want to do, I think the job market isn't that bad.

Retail jobs are hard to come by due to the transient nature of military spouses.

(Warner Robbins air force base is nearby)
But b/c of the AFB there is a decent job market for jobs that support that operation.

Brian would be looking for something in sales. Probably something in pneumatic, hydraulic or industrial. We probably can't sell our house right not anyway, at least not for what its worth. The job market and housing market are really bad here right now. Dh company is having a record year, but they do a lot with the health care industry which is not slowing down.

There is a lot of that around here b/c of the AFB and other factories in the area.

I agree the housing market stinks. I'm lucky we are First Time Buyers as we were able to get our house for 100k less than it was appraised for and about 3x less than what we would have paid for it where we lived before (I think you saw them on facebook) Although we bought it from the builder (or are buying it I should say) so he will probably be able to write off the loss.

Hi Sassies! In case you missed it, I wanna spread my news this way...I held a boa constrictor around my shoulders today! It squeezed my neck. I saw my life flash before my ojos! I had three people takes pics, so hopefully they will email me one.
