PERFECT!! :cool2:

Good evening, ladies! Tricia, is Colin in bed, resting up for the big game? What position does he play? I trust Gracie is looking spiffy for the post game party. The question is, will she get lucky and someone will drop cake? Tune in later.............

Judi - I didn't know your mom was on pain meds - I'll bet they are affecting her appetite a bit too. Glad she's eating, and that you are weaning her off them.

Becca - I've never been to a Bubba Gump! I'd love to go, though. Send me a doggy bag, please!

Heather - your news sounds encouraging! We'll keep praying!

Angie - couch potato weekend sounds divine. What movies do you have? We just watched Be Kind, Rewind last night which wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

Bonnie - you tan yet? I talked to another swim team parent today and she was raving about Virginia Beach. They just got back from there. She liked the boardwalk a lot and said the beach was really clean and nice. I may have to give it a try!

Hi Rella, Julie and Kimmy! Hope you all had a great day!

Colin is watching the LSU game right now. Another rain delay but it's finally back on. Geaux Tigers!

Good morning!! Yes, even on Saturday Atlas got up at 4:40... He had a bath last night and went to bed really late, but that didn't matter...

But I was somehow motivated and got the dishwasher emptied and started washing some pans while I was up. I hope that motivation continues throughout the day because this place is a MESS!

I'll check in later.... Everyone have a GREAT day!!!

Happy Saturday Sassys! I'm off to work today, I need my hardwood floors and this is the only way I'll be getting them!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Becca, may I come to work with you too? Enjoy your weekend.

Good morning, Sassies! Becca, maybe if you go to work you can figure out what a helicoil thingy is. A little knowlegde AND hardwood floors - not bad!

I've been in a cleaning frenzy this morning. It's funny how much more I get done when Mr. FofP is home monopolizing the computer. This afternoon Barney and I go to the meet and BamBam gets to stay home with Dad. He was not a happy camper yesterday, let me tell you. It took both a snow cone and a ring pop to get him through the day. If he has to attend any more days he is sure to get tooth decay.

Judi - do you think Atlas is listening? I agree with you that we should teach him to read, then he can become a Sassy Something too.:thumbsup2

Have a great day, ya'll!

Judi :rotfl: That was great!!! If you and Wilma and anyone else wants to tutor Atlas, I would appreciate it. If he learns to read and goes to swimming practice, he will be a well rounded pup. :dogdance: He seems to learn quickly even though English is his second language. ;)

I need to regain my motivation from earlier this morning. After going back to bed for awhile, I now want to do very little...

Bonnie -- Are you back from VA Beach? How was it??? I have been thinking about going there sometime. Tell all about it and where you stayed. Where do you live -- is it far from VA Beach? Hope you found some beets there!! ;)

Tricia -- How did the championship game go????

Heather -- Any phone calls from lady #2 or lady #1???

How are the rest of the Sassies????

No calls from lady 1 or 2 dadgumit!!:furious: Scott said lady 1 said to call her midweek if he hadn't heard from lady 2 by then. I say midweek is Monday afternoon::yes:: Don't you agree?:lmao:

Our dishwasher tried to die today. I about had a heart attack. I hate washing dishes. Loading the dishwasher is bad enough, but to have to stand there and actually wash them.....shudder:scared1: . Luckily it turned out to be a loose connection that we were able to fix ourselves. Which is a very good thing because to call in a repairman was a $55 minimum:faint:

Hope everyone is having a great day.:moped:

Hey hags!

Home from the Beach! I'm surnburned! (I fell asleep while laying out.) We had a great time! Hotel was groovy, and it was about five miles from the beach, so not too shabby. We all whooped it up, body surfing, (even DH and me) and you can just imagine how attractive we were!! :rotfl2: The girls were giggling all day long yesterday and today when we were frollicking in the water. Good times!

How have you girls been?

Judi :rotfl: That was great!!! If you and Wilma and anyone else wants to tutor Atlas, I would appreciate it. If he learns to read and goes to swimming practice, he will be a well rounded pup. :dogdance: He seems to learn quickly even though English is his second language. ;)

Hi Julie! We stayed at the Holiday Inn, about five miles from the Beach. The hotels on the beach were over $220 a night, and we are too poor for those kind of shenanigans! It had some interesting architecture and both an indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. http://www.holidayinn.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/orfgr?rpb=hotel&crUrl=/h/d/hi/1/en/availsearch&ias=y I live in Woodbridge, VA, which is 30 miles south of D.C.

Sadly, I found nary a beet there. :(

Toot, I thought I drug you up better that to pull this

in those tropics too.

Glad to know that Virginia Beach is a beet-free zone!

Good night you sassy ladies!

Hey Sassies!! Happy Sunday to ya! What is everyone doing today?

I'm staying home and cleaning and relaxing. Nothin' too exciting, but it's what needs to be done! I may go to the grocery store too, but I'm hoping it can wait till tomorrow!

Shannon and I have not booked our room, we are waiting till Monday. We are thinking that we will pay the extra $15 a night to stay in a preferred location. That resort is big and we dont' wanna spend all our time walking to the main building/food court or the bus stop! Plus, halvsies is $7.50 a night and that ain't too shabby.

Good morning Sassies!!!

We have a cub scout picnic this afternoon. So DS and I will be making brownies in a little bit and DH is going to make baked macaroni & cheese. It should be a good time.

Judi how is your Mother? Is the eating still going better?
Keep up the pep talks with Atlas. He didn't sleep until 7 -- he got up at 5:16. But that is an improvement over the 4:30's of this week!

Everyone have a great day!!!!

We just had the most beautiful rainbow. It's been a long time since I've seen one. :)

Judi - we had a beautiful rainbow yesterday and I was thinking the same thing. It was after a nasty thunderstorm which made it all the more serene and lovely.

What's everyone been up to today? It's nice to know we are having a positive effect on Atlas. 15 minutes is a start. Maybe you'll get 15 more tomorrow, Julie!

We went to the swim meet today but it was thunderstormed-out so we got to come home early. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing a marathon Monopoly game. BamBam must have some kind of blessings from the Monopoly Gods on his head - he always gets Boardwalk and Park Place when we play. Drives Barney nuts!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: However, he is quite risk-averse which makes him different from Donald Trump. Oh, and he has all of his hair.

Speaking of Donald Trump, here's a little family factoid. My MIL grew up in a house in Brooklyn that they rented from Donald Trump's dad. She says he would come (with Donald) for the rent every month and that Donald was a PITA (actually, being Jewish she calls him a nebesch) and that they never wanted to let him play stickball with them but they would because her mother was so worried the rent would go up if they didn't. So, what you see on tv is real (for once!).

See you all tomorrow, ladies!

Good morning, Sassies! Rise and Shine! Time to tootle off to practice - who has the Diet Coke? I am in serious need, my friends!
