Hello!!
I hope you don't mind me joining in. Is there like an initiation to get into the "clique"?

Welcome, Happily! :wave2:

There is an initiation...a BIG initiation...but I will leave it to Wilma to tell you all about it. ;)

In the meantime, tell us about yourself!

Okies!!
I like bright colors and weird things. I've always wanted a fish but that doesn't seem like it will happen anytime soon. I like to drink coffee, i've actually just started drinking it, and I am feeling the addiction. I am deathly afraid of spiders (creepy crawly ick). I'm also 17 years old and this upcoming school year will be my last.

Toot, you are such a spoil-sport.

I'm thrilled you got an ortho that the girls like. Can we have a hot-dog hat picture instead.

Next time it is hotdog day, I will be sure to get a pic! They are having another one at the end of the summer! :thumbsup2

Bonnie - I've always wanted one of those hot dog hats! Do you think you can sneak it out of the ortho's office for your dear friend Wilhelm?

Perhaps. What's in it for me? :confused3

I forgot the fantastic thing that happened this weekend. We live in a subdivision with small lots (we paid extra for a 10,000 sq ft lot, so that tells you how small most of them are!). Anyway, our neighbors behind us erected a huge and hideous playset that hulked over the fence and was hideous to look at (it had flags with stripes and a big green tarp). The main problem was the platform the kids could climb up on-because of the small lot it was really close to the fence and they could see directly into our backyard, kitchen, living room and master bedroom. We really felt like we had NO privacy when they were up there playing. The kids would yell at us in the pool, and constantly bark at our dogs to try and make them bark back-it was HELL!! I complained to the HOA, but they claimed they were within regulations. Anyway, Saturday morning we see this huge moving truck headed to the street behind us. We were thinking should we even begin to hope that it could be for them?? Guess what...IT WAS!!! They moved out. And the best part is............................................................................................

THEY TOOK THE PLAYSET WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!! We have our privacy back! :cool1:  :dance3: :yay: We get excited by the simplest things-yes we are dorks! But who wants kids staring over the fence into their house all the time??? OK-thanks for letting me share my excitement.

Yay, Angie!! That is excellent news! I remember you telling about those peskie kids! I'm happy for ya, hag!

Julie, where have you been, hag?

Heather, why would you use a hot tub in the heat down there. I thought they were a winter type thing. Roll in the snow, then get in the hot tub? No-one ever said I was the brightest

For us, it isn't actually a 'hot' tub. Rairly have we used it at high heat. 90 degrees sounds hot but it isn't. It is shockingly cold when you first get in. I tried talking Scott into a pool. Infact, we were at the dealer looking at some really nice above ground pool when the salesman got scott all hot and bothered about the hottub.......about how much cheaper it would be and how much easier to care for it would be:furious:

I agree that a hot tub is more of a winter thing. ::yes::

I didn't know that dehydration would happen so fast. Joey went to bed and seemed fine and woke up sick.

Ohhh mann!! Thats another thing I have to add to my list of what I have to do this summer...look at universities.

Hiya Sassys! I have gotten so much accomplished today. My oil is changed, my carpets are clean, my boys went to swim practice and my plants are all watered. Okay so maybe I didn't do as much as I thought, but it felt like a lot!

Bonnie, I have your wares here. I can't deliver today unfortunately. Will you be on MSN later?

Angie, yeah! I hate inconsiderate neighbors and braggy neighbors. Ours used to be our friends now they are always trying to one up all the other kids in the neighborhood by getting their kids the better model of anything one of them has. I wouldn't mind if they moved soon.

Judi, are you freezing today? We aren't very warm here but it is nice and sunny! Hows mom today? I could use a drink too!

Heather, poor Joey! I hope he's feeling better soon. Dehydration is scary, my boys drink tons of water all day long so I don't really worry about them too much and it hasn't been super hot here yet.

Tricia, Walmart was out of Electronic Monopoly today. I will try again later in the week!

Wilma, I did find out what a helicoil tool is. It is a special tool that makes threads when they are stripped out. Educational thread strikes again!

Julie, how are the adventures of Atlas this afternoon?

Happilyeverafter, welcome to our goofy thread and Wilma will get back to you with the initiation. She's the scary one!

Hi Hags!!!!

I have missed you all too!! I have just been busy...this is me juggling all of my Monday carp: :jumping1:

I am doing great -- THANKS!!

My wonderful Atlas :dogdance: didn't get up until my alarm went off at 5:15!!!! Hooray!!! 45 minutes more sleep than the last couple of days. THANKS you guys for talking to Altas....Keep it up!!! Sure, Heather's dog can join in. The more help the better. ;) (So this morning I got busy doing some things and didn't DIS and didn't have as much time before work. Life is again getting in the way of my social life again. :goodvibes: )

Tricia, Sorry the team didn't win, but I hope they had FUN!!! Second is darn good. :yay:

Heather, glad Joey is doing better. It is awful having a kid in the hospital... I hope you are rested up too.

Angie, yes Atlas makes it from about 10-ish until he wakes me between 4:30 & 5:15. I too am glad to not be up every 2 hours to go on a pee walk. :faint:

You know, Sassies, if MrJulie wouldn't have to get up to go to the bathroom for his own pee walk it would help!! Who can give him a pep talk??? Maybe we need some other Misters to help with him!! :lmao: Maybe he and Atlas should take their pee walks together and cut out the middle man (ME!) :rotfl2:

Hi Judi!! Thanks for checking on me! I was wondering about those chickens too. You should put mixed drinks with little umbrellas in their wings!! :) I hope your Mom cooperates better tomorrow!! Wow -- I hate touching poultry. Did it give you the "willies"?

Hey Bonnie!! I've had to do such things you wouldn't believe!! I had to work on updating my Act clearances. My DH needed me to renew his trailer's registration online. I had to work. I had to plug and unplug the pump a few times so DH could wash said trailer. Every time I wanted to DIS today, something hijacked me.... Hopefully I get to say hi tomorrow!!!

Welcome, Happily!!!! I am relatively new here too and these are the best bunch of hags!!!

Well, Sassies, I hope to be on tomorrow. I have to go to the courthouse and get Atlas his lifetime license. Then I go to Volleyball practice. I just got appointed JV volleyball coach, so that should be fun. Then the rest of the week I won't be home much. My DH pinstripes and will be set up at a HUGE motorcycle rally Wed - Sun. I am moral support (well, mostly support as I am not terribly moral :goodvibes ) And I usually get to be the "cashier" and pocket as much of DH's $$ as I can.. ;)

So if you don't hear from me much this week, know I am with you Hags in SPIRIT!!!!! But I will try to check in when I can as we will sleep at home.

Morning, Sassies!! Another day, another (couple of) dollar(s). What's new? This morning I used my new hot pink leopard print Chi. I think it works better than my plain old black one. I really do. ::yes::

Say....isn't that the 5 ft. rooster that ate Bbgrizzle? :confused3

Hi Julie! You sound busy! But at least now we know the rooster didn't eat you too!! Hope you get a chance to stop in and chat!

Bex, sorry I was not on MSN, I didn't get the message in time, and I have not been on MSN lately, since no one is ever on when I am! We need to schedule a chat though! Or at least a time for you to drop off my goods.

Angus, how is New Moon? Are you enjoying it? I like how when Bella is all devastated, the next four chapters are just blank pages. I thought it was a clever way for the Author to show how Bella's life was passing by in a blank fog. (I'm hoping you already read that part. )

Hi Heather! How is Joey doing? How are YOU doing?

Wilma, are you planning on seeing Mama Mia? I can't wait! Every time I see the commercial I think of you and our mutual love of musicals!

Tricia how is cheerleading going? Is your DD still going to practices during the summer? Are you stinkin busy?

Hi Rella and Kimmy! :wave2:
