It is good to see ya'll. Unfortunately you are not in time to save me from laundry like I had hoped Scott jsut called and will be home very soon. I will be back after I find the pool table again....

How's everyone???

I had a LONG week gals!
Hot flashing like crazy! (That's me burning up - not getting mad.)
Terribly slow at work which means doing almost nothing for 8 hours!
Totally rearranging our house which means my house was a disaster all week!
I finally stayed up until 2:00 last night to get some semblance of order back!
Today my two Godson's arrived to spend the next 3 days with us so the noise from ds room is... LOUD!
But they're being good and having a great time so I just can't get on them about it.
One of my closest friends lost her mother this morning.
So now I'm gonna watch a guy movie with dh....
Maybe I'll just fall asleep!

Things are sure to get better.... right???

Hope to catch some of you around here or on MSN this weekend!

Thanks Judi. Yea, the Astros won round two of the playoffs. We have the championship game Saturday morning at 8:15. I'm so proud of our little guys.

Good morning Sassies!! Just wanted to give you a little Robin Williams for this Friday morning. Atlas was kind to me today and left me sleep until 10 til 5.

Heather -- we went through a Tom & Jerry phase too. It was hysterical to watch DS watch it -- he would belly laugh until he was crying!!! Sorry I wasn't able to bail you out of laundry duty last night. You could have told Scott that you wanted to give him a more challenging game of pool.

Rella -- What a week!!!! I hope your weekend is better!

Tricia -- Congratulations to the ASTROS!!! arty: Best of luck for tomorrow!!

Judi -- How did dinner go for you Mom last night? Was it a better day? Do you have a menu figured out for today??

Bonnie -- Bummer about the braces. The dentist told us DS at his very first appt that he would need them too eventually. A prudent person would have started saving $ then, but since I am not a prude I didn't bother...

Good Morning!

Joey startled me awake this morning. He ran through my door crying tried to jump on the bed....all he succeeded doing was jump starting my heart. I tried to hold him and rub his back but I was shaking too bad to do a very good job. I guess he either had a bad dream or didn't like running through a dark house to get to my room

Julie~~Most of the laundry is neatly folded but it is still sitting on the pool table. I think I will tell Scott that it is a challenge. "OK honey, this shot will be around the towels and over the underwear to the corner pocket"

Good morning Sassys! One week till Chicago again. I was watching the Early Show and they are having a Chicago concert in Chicago. We picked the wrong weekend Angie and Bonnie! I had to clean up vomit this morning and I don't do well with that. Blech! Justin is snoozing away in our bed and I hope he feels better when he wakes up. Its summer no more sickness allowed!

Good Morning all you SASSY things.

I couldn't sleep last night. I guess I was just hyped up from the game. This morning I need to take Gracie to the groomers for 8 AM. I think my body knows when I have to wake up early it doesn't let me sleep good.

A trip to Sams is in order today. We are having Colin's team party tomorrow and stuff in bulk is just what I need.

Bonnie had fun sunning on the beach. Don't forget suntain lotion. We don't want you coming back looking like this.

Becca so sorry that Justin is sick. I hope it's a one time thing and he'll be all better when he wakes up.

Judi you're not old. We are just like a fine wine............we get better with age.

Good morning Sassies! Becca, I have banned vomit from my home. Mom Decree #37 - No one shall vomit within these walls. Seems to be working, perhaps you should try it. Is the whole family going to Chicago with you, or is it another girls' weekend?

Judi - Did Mom eat better yesterday and this morning? Nurse Ratchet awaits!

Rella - what a yucky week. At least it's Friday, things have got to look up, right?

Julie - Atlas was not at swim practice this morning. 10 demerits for him. I am sure he's quite concerned about his demerit accrual. I shall send a car service for him next time, please make sure he's stuffed into his little suit and has suitable goggles.

Bonnie - have a great time at the beach! I'm sorry I am not more help - it's been about 25 years since I have been to Virginia Beach. Hope you find a perfect spot and have a fun day!

Angie - here's hoping for a drama free day at work

Heather - The laundry will swallow you up if you don't take care of it. It's true, it's happened to the lady across the street from me. Swallowed whole by a load of errant socks. Never heard from again - we'd hate to have that happen to you, lady! Put Joey to work -channel that energy and save your life simultaneously.

Today-Sunday we have a swim meet, warm ups start at 12:30. The gods smiled upon us and gave us the afternoon session, all three days. Hooray!

No. I heard the alarm go off at 5:00 for Mark and normally I would go back to sleep. Knowing I had to be somewhere for 8:00 this morning I just couldn't get my body to cooperate.

Mom did a lot better yesterday, as we type she is working on a 1/2 english muffin with cheddar cheese. Took her meds with no fuss. Weaning on pain meds doesn't help but it has to be done. When she fussed at her doctor about it, he just smiled and explained the situation. Mean daughter but with doctors blessing

Tricia, Congrats to Colin and his team! I missed that earlier and I apologize, I have my fog goggles on for some reason this morning!

Judi, glad mom is doing a little better. Threatening her with a feeding tube must be great motivation for her!

Wilma, good timing for the swim meet. Tell the delinquent frog to get his act together if he doesn't want to go the way of Frogger. I loved that game!

Heather, I missed Joey's escapade too. I hate that feeling when something scares me awake.

Brian is taking next Friday off and we are taking the train into Chicago for the day. We are going to Field Museum and Navy Pier and we will have dinner at Bubba Gumps, Ed Debevics or Rain Forest Cafe. It just depends on what everyone wants to eat. I think we'll end up at Bubba Gumps since its on the pier though.

Justin has risen and is feeling better thank goodness! Brian took them to BK for dinner last night and I wonder if it didn't set well with him.

Good morning everybody!

Nothing like a little vomit to start the day!! Work has been weird this week-I'm SO glad it's Friday. Although we have absolutely nothing planned for this weekend. Guess we'll just be couch potatoes and watch some movies. It's supposed to be 115 tomorrow, so gotta stay in the AC anyway. And I've got a couple of books to read, so it's all good.

Wish I was at the beach like Bonnie. That sounds fabulous right now!

Promising job news. Scott talked to the lady (we'll call her lady #1) he interviewed with the other day and she said if the second lady doesn't call him by this afternoon for him to let her know.

Lady #1 is going to talk to lady #2 and tell her she wants to put Scott as top priority and hurry him through the system. I am guessing that means she IS going to hire him. He at least seems to think so. I am still crossing my fingers and toes and anything else I can cross that he gets the job. I am waiting to celebrate until it is official he is hired and actually starts work.
