I'm glad that you're having a great time in Texas. I'm so glad that you got to go on the boat tour! That's awesome that you got to see the Alamo, too. I'll bet that was a really amazing experience. What was the name of the Mexican restaurant that you went to? I wonder if it was the same one that my family and I went to when we were there.

Oh my, Tigger. The play wasn't too good. The kids were so cute but wow- they all have some pretty high, squeaky singing voices! Regardless, it was wonderful to see them all and they were thrilled I was there- so that certainly made it worthwhile.

I went to my brother's wedding this weekend. It was tons of fun. I love my new SIL! She's a sweetheart! The only thing that went wrong was my phone getting stolen!

Aww, I love weddings! It's great you like your new SIL- there's nothing worse than not loving your new family member . OMG, your phone was stolen?! I hope you had phone insurance or at least get a new phone soon!

Sounds positively glamorous!! I went to California when I was 7 and the only thing I remember is visiting a llama farm. From what I remember, I really enjoyed it!

The wedding was at my parents house. I had my phone in the bedroom my DH and I were staying in. One of the bridesmaids changed in there. I had no idea they were going to be changing in our room! One of my BILs said he did see my phone at the reception, which was at a different location. I didn't take it to the reception. My new SIL is the one who said she thinks it was her. She said she had stolen a couple of things 3 years ago, but she thought she quit. SIL felt sooo bad. We do have insurance on our phones though.

Yep! A llama farm. Oh goodness, ostriches are scary-- there is an outdoor zoo that you can drive through in my home town and ostriches roamed freely around.. they would stand in the middle of the road, peck at our car windows.. it was really frightening!!

Yea...my DH works at Best Buy and he talked to a couple of people in the mobile dept. and they said they would talk to their contacts to see if they could help any. We just switched over to Sprint from Verizon.

Is it one of those safari-type places? I think that my family and I saw something like that when we visited San Antonio. We didn't get a chance to go there, though. Free-roaming ostriches sound really scary!!


My family and I happened to see the ostrich farm on our way back from a short road trip. We saw a lot of cars parked near it, so we decided to check it out, too. I've never seen an ostrich up close and I had no idea that they were such mean-looking animals. They look like they could bite your head off at any moment. It's a good thing that those ostriches couldn't read because there was an "ostrich meat sold here" sign by the little store on the ostrich farm.
