Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I refuse to ziploc clothing.

:lmao:

Apparently, the ziploc method of packing helps some people get organized. People with lots of kids maybe? They pack one whole outfit for one whole day into one ziploc bag and label it. I have no explanation for why people wear crocs.

I'll just say that the 2 on the end need to put their tongues BACK in their individual mouths.....;)

I LOVE this pic!:rotfl2::rotfl2: I feel honored?????
that was from 2 prtr's ago....

you should feel very honored...maybe I can get a christmas addition while I''m there.

: I have no explanation for why people wear crocs.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

that's too funny!

I want to first thank everyone for the great title suggestions that came in, there are some real good ones.

The weather here is getting really crappy out wind, ice, snow, sleet, windows howling the whole 9 yards, guy next to me is looking at pictures for his coming up cruise and it is making me wish our trip was here faster, so once i get a title i get to start typing about it so it is time for round 1 of voting.

I took all the suggested titles, and put them into a survey for you all to vote on. each diser got there own question (winkers got 2, she had alot of entries)

that way, after round one of voting even if you only had 1 entry, you still have an equal shot of having your title entry chosen as "the one" that will be used.:thumbsup2

So please take the survey and let your fingers be heard, after a few days of letting guys take the survey, i will have a final round for you to vote on.

NOTE: i can not see whos answers correspond to the results that come in to me, i turned that option off, so dont worry about that.

So please follow the link below.

May the best title win!

Okay....I've been lacking in my responses and reading of TR/PTRs the last few days, but remember it's now December. Christmas season at church is like tax season for accountants or like Mother's Day at restaurants.

I've also been spending time working on my binder. If you read my last PTR, Binder was an integral part of the PTR. She went everywhere--the beach, Disneyland, out to lunch, Christmas....This trip, I did her cover, gave her some contents and then left her in the corner. She's been feeling neglected. I had to do some groveling and begging to get back in her good graces. She wouldn't even look at me:
adecnight004.jpg

Now that I was back in Binders' good graces. I worked on labeling the tabs. I updated and revised itineraries (draft 12, but who's counting--LL;)). I made a list for ADRs. I did spreadsheets:
adecnight005.jpg

I also went to the local Home Depot for Lime Green Mickey Heads. :scared1::scared1:Did you know (I'm sure this is old news) that Disney wised up and now does paint sample strips like every other paint company. No more mickey heads!!!!!:scared1::scared1: So I had to go home and try and see if I saved any of the LGMHs I had from the trip in 08. In my search, I found lots of old stuff and ended up spending 2 hours cleaning out my bedroom (squirrel). Finally, I happened across the old binder and I found the LGMHs:
adecnight006.jpg

It was also time to pull down the luggage. I don't know if you've seen the luggage I bought for China:
adecnight003.jpg

adecnight002.jpg

Delsey luggage. I like it because it's easy to find, but it gets dirty fast.

Also, although I haven't officially added the DDP for the Pop portion of my trip, I went ahead and booked some more ADRS. So for the upteenth time, here is the latest list of ADRs. The new ones are in blue.

2/6-The Wave-Dis Dinner
2/8-Kouzzina-dis dinner
2/8-Tutto Italia-solo lunch
2/10-Prime Time Cafe
2/10-Kona Cafe
2/11-Raglan Road
2/13-Teppan Edo
2/14-Kona Cafe breakfast
2/14-Boma
2/15-Jiko
2/16-Brown Derby-lunch
2/16-Flying Fish
2/17-Sanaa

Okay, that's about it for today! Remember to take Dan's survey.

Thanks again to Blueyed Girl for letting me use her bolding technique. She has a PTR, please stop by and say hi to her at this link:

I've also been spending time working on my binder

Want to work on mine next?! I got all excited and started on it, got a cover made, started typing up spread sheets... And now nothing. Fail. :guilty:

Really? I didn't know this. Though I haven't been in Home Depot in a few months. But, that sucks! I use them for scrapbooking too, and was thinking about getting some to make a countdown with. Who do I call with this sort of complaint?

They still had Mickey Heads but you could tell they were phasing them out.:confused3

Imagine having my roommate take the pictures. he already thinks I'm nuts!

I'll get to it. If nothing else, I do have the week before we leave off and I'll spend some much needed time on it then. Though I'd rather not have it be a last minute thing. Maybe this weekend after I clean the house.

Yes, yes!:thumbsup2
my first thought is........do you need a cigarette? But since I'm above those kind of comments,.....

I take it you want pics of my family with their tongues sticking out.....
I have a plan brewing.......I'm just nervous that one of these days, they will check me into the funny farm.

:rotfl:

I can only imagine what he must tell his family about his room mate.

thank him for me....I needed the laugh.

I know. They do give me strange looks when they come over. For some reason, they also say to stay more than 4 feet from them..:confused3 J/K. They're great.

Me likey!!! And thanks for the info on the Mickey Heads. I will put out an APB for the last reserve of them for my countdown with the girls.

As for ADRs, your list is pretty much what I would do sans children. When you see my list of ADRs you will see the yin to your yang...T-Rex, CRT....:rotfl2:

Well Thank you that makes me a Hero too , Judy is adopted !!:thumbsup2
:banana:Yes! Rose you too are a serious hero!

JUst call me a terrific trendsetter. Always wanted to be "known" for something really amazing!
:rotfl2:

I was a Vera newbie too and while I am rather familiar with D&B I must confess...

I do not own a Vera, nor do I have any intention of every doing so.With ya there.
The above can, and will be said, for Croc's.
I don't get the crocs thing either, I can't get past the ugly factor, I realize they are comfortable, but just don't do it for me.

I refuse to ziploc clothing. While I think my kids would probably lock me up if I ziploc their outfits dd10 and ds17 :rotfl: I do take a lot of them with us. I put anything that can leak inside them so not to have a major mess inside my luggage, for some reason when you put a soap pump on a plane it always builds pressure and leaks. (I have to have liquid soap for my hands when washing, the bars gross me out)This way I can localize the mess to the bag. I also use them inside my baggallini with anything I'm worried about getting wet incase we get rain while there. I would hate to have my camera or really cute wallet ruined because of it.

Am I going to get kicked out? They would have to kick me out too.

and...

LOL Camille on the "normal" sized kids. I can relate. I've a 9lb 6oz and a 6lb 9oz. Talk about messing with your head going from one extreme to the other! To say the least! :rotfl: I think the norm (as I've been told) they just keep getting bigger with each one, hence why I only have two children! ;)Looks like you lucked out!

Normal apparently, is somewhere in the middle I'm told. All I know is I was convinced the 2nd one would break everytime I went to change his diaper since his big brother was born at the size of a 3 month old. I would probably feel the same way. Tyler ds17 was only in newborns for about a week.

I agree that anyone who adopts is a hero!
::yes:: Very much so!

Jordan......I give you a 13 tongue salute......
and one little girl who can't believ this is the family she ended up with...

100_4412.jpg

It was right after taking this picture that my family staged their first intervention.
:rotfl2::thumbsup2 This is the greatest picture!!! Cherie, your a hoot! I love it!

I certainly hope not!! Although I do have a cozy pair of Gretels over here. Ziplocking clothes?? Why?? :confused3
I think someone already said this...it's for the mom who has little one's, she puts each outfit inside the ziploc to make getting ready easier, and also because everything seems to get wet in Florida. I guess there have been occasions when luggage was left out in the rain before being delivered to the WDW resorts, leaving the family with wet clothes for a few days.

:lmao:

Word on the crocs. ;)

Chapter 59. Potpourri for 100 Alex.

Christmas season at church is like tax season for accountants or like Mother's Day at restaurants. As you can tell, it doesn't look like anyone is going anywhere, we know how crazy this time of the year is for you. I pray peace and strength and super natural rest when you sleep during this season of craziness. :thumbsup2

Been there, did it. :thumbsup2

I always knew you had a woman out there somewhere. You sure know how to take care of 'em! You do croon to her, right??

I thought you said you hated Excel?? Looks like you did pretty good to me!! :thumbsup2

Dan's survey was great! There were some really great choices there...:rolleyes1
