Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

I just want it to snow like it did in LA or TX...snow and then melt.... I love the silence when it's snowing.... :cloud9: It's my favorite part about snowing...the silence, and I also love that when it does snow here, we don't deal with it very long... so I'm totally with you there Jordie. GMTA.

So sorry about your snow anxiety, LL. Here's a
Yes, LL so sorry about the anxiety,  Maybe you could play your favorite Disney music when you get in the car on snowy days, that way you'll have something that makes you happy while doing something that you don't like.

GB-you da man.:thumbsup2:rotfl2:
Yes. Yes he is. :thumbsup2

I went up east for law school and the first time it snowed I broke my ankle. :headache: No snow for me. Although, Biscuit, I did total my car in the rain once so I'd just as soon skip our spring floods too. (I didn't have a wreck, but apparently it is not good to drive your car through water deeper than your hood.)
Generally no, not a good thing.... Haven't you heard girl?! Turn Around So You Don't Drown!" Totally relate to the floods, my Texas sista!

Flash floods are INSANE. We got caught out in a storm a couple of years ago and it was horrible. Tracy was in her car and stuck, trying to get to high ground, I was driving around trying to find her based on landmarks she was giving me, she was in tears, the girls were screaming, we couldn't get to our house, and after we finally found each other and were driving towards my moms, a second strom came in and blew my car sideways. :scared1: But other than that, the weather's lovely. :thumbsup2
 Ooooh, poor girls. Thank goodness it doesn't happen all the time, we do have those pesky droughts every so often. :rotfl:

Fires, earthquakes, mudslides in SoCal....
I don't miss any of those one single bit! :snooty:

To back track to all the weather talk..you all just make me happy I am where I am! No floods, fires, earthquakes, tornados or blizzards! (Well..maybe a blizzard once every ten years, but I can deal with that!) Normally we might get 1-3 inches of snow two or three different times over the winter. So who's moving??
Me! Seriously, how far are you from Florida, and what's the weather generally like? I've never been there, would love to visit some time.

OMG...I don't know how I missed this but am subbing on to another Peeps PTR...

I read your first post and almost destroyed my keyboard with coffee (I really should know by now)...I swear (I shouldn't- but I do) that your threads should be required to carry a warning that reading while drinking (coffee ;) ) could and probably will be hazardous to the life of your keyboard...:lmao:
Or the people across from you.

Dude! That's full on funny!
You could always go with the Bronx annunciation and spell it Toid.
 Only this group could find a way to make sure a potty word bypassed censors and incorporated into a PTR Title. I love it! :woohoo: :rotfl: Jordie, thank you for your PTR, I love this group! Potty humor and all.

Well..you are in sunny SoCa..I thought maybe you were looking for some extra Disney money.....

My husband grew up not too far from D-Land and he and his friends used to drive up and down Harbor Blvd and throw lemons out the car window at the hookers. He still thinks it's hilarious. I still wonder why I married him....:confused3

Hey Jordan!

I love how your ticker says 1 Month and 4 weeks today. Somehow that just makes it sound sooner than saying 2 months.

Hurray! Jordan's back!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU_sGTASKW0

I'm not nearly as witty as everyone else here to banter so I will only put in my .000002 cents worth in but am loving all the comments! btw I ALMOST had an opportunity to see the famous Jordan last year when I was there 1/31-02/3/09. Someday maybe we'll cross paths and I'll just admire from afar ;)

party::welcome:party:

Welcome back!

that video...too funny

:rotfl2: Oooooh, I have a feeling I'm gonna looooove reading from your PTR, any friend of Jordie's is a friend of mine!
Think you could get your beautiful wife to chime in every once and a while on your PTR? Would love to hear from her too! :) It's been so much fun hearing from Wendy on Jordie's PTR, that I thought maybe we could hear from your wifey-poo too.

I THINK Candi has chimed in from time to time on Dan's PTRs/TRs.

Let me just say that I love reading the short bit that I've read so far. :yay: And GB is right.....:sad1: read it with a box of tissues. I love your funny sense of humor, this lady, folks, will have you all in stitches when you read her stuff, just go back and read some of the almost NC-17 stuff she and Jordie wrote over a week or so ago. :rotfl2: Uh huh, :snooty: as a Christian woman I would neva find that sort of thing to be laugh worthy.....Oh! Who am I kidding! She's a freakin hoot! Read her PTR!

Amanda started off shy...who knew she had a wicked funny sense of humor:thumbsup2

I love how your ticker says 1 Month and 4 weeks today. Somehow that just makes it sound sooner than saying 2 months.

It's actually 59 days away.

Just another piece of useless potty trivia!! I Wales the Gaelic word for potty is TOILEDU!!!:lmao:Remember you heard it first here!!:rotfl2: In Yugoslavia the pottys (public ones like in a corner bar) consist of 2 stones beside a hole in the ground :rotfl2::rotfl2: And in England the slang for going to the bathroom is "Spend a Penny!" Anyone know why???????:confused3

You know I'm not positive how far I am from FL..I know..practically sacreligious around here, eh? LOL. Seriously though..I would guesstimate maybe 15-20 hrs? The weather is mild in the spring, 60's-70's..can get very hot in summer..90's, though anything over 92 or so is rare, and we're talking maybe 2 weeks of those kinds of temps. Fall..anywhere 50's-70's, and the lowest we get in winter is about 20's. There are always exceptions, but I like that we have obvious seasons without FL-type summers or Maine-type winters.

Thank you, Millie! And Jordan, you're spot on.. I am the same way in person..it takes me a while to feel comfy, but once I do, the sense of humor comes out.

My husband grew up not too far from D-Land and he and his friends used to drive up and down Harbor Blvd and throw lemons out the car window at the hookers. He still thinks it's hilarious. I still wonder why I married him....:confused3

LOL Melissa! Those poor women, all they were trying to do was make a buck! And here they thought all they had to worry about was disease when... BAM! hit in the head by a lemon...

Where are you finding this stuff out?:rotfl2:

Personal knowledge !! Youth spent in Wales camping , Late teens vacation to Yugoslavia OH yea that toiledu was a shocker !!!! "Spend a Penny" Literally you had to put a penny in a slot to gt into a public bathroom:lmao:

Well, since we're on foreign trivia---

1) The word for Toilet is DaretXana- meaning toilet house. Creative, I know.

2) Public potties here are the corner of an elevator, or the side (the road side) of a bus stopped along the highway.

3) We have to pay to use them to- something equivalent to around 5 cents. So, inflation has hit here. It's not a penny--- it's 5! You'd think for that kind of change, they give you enough paper to take care of your business. I mean what if you doo more than 2 square's worth??

In east asia, similar places to dook..usually just right on the sidewalk. Always carry your own TP in East Asia.

Hello! :duck:
Hey Jordan!

I wanted to answer you but you beat me to it. ;)

You know I'm not positive how far I am from FL..I know..practically sacreligious around here, eh? LOL.Uhhhh, yea! ;) Seriously though..I would guesstimate maybe 15-20 hrs? The weather is mild in the spring, 60's-70's..can get very hot in summer..90's, This is hot?!? :confused3 Sweet lady I live in Texas, 90's is like spring to us! Sounds like :cloud9: though anything over 92 or so is rare, and we're talking maybe 2 weeks of those kinds of temps. Fall..anywhere 50's-70's, and the lowest we get in winter is about 20's. Again....:cloud9: Heaven, sounds like heaven...There are always exceptions, but I like that we have obvious seasons without FL-type summers or Maine-type winters.I like this too! In Texas the trees don't always change in the fall, like right now our beautiful Bradford Pears are still changing colors, although the Red Oaks around here, have for the most part changed or lost their leaves.

Thank you, Millie! Your so welcome! I promise to say hello when I finally get over to your PTR again.

LOL Melissa! Those poor women, all they were trying to do was make a buck! And here they thought all they had to worry about was disease when... BAM! hit in the head by a lemon...
:rotfl2: Is it wrong that I'm laughing?? :confused3 Whaaaa?

thanks, it is fun to write and fun to see what people say about our adventures,

Oh goodie! :yay:

Well, since we're on foreign trivia---

1) The word for Toilet is DaretXana- meaning toilet house. Creative, I know.

2) Public potties here are the corner of an elevator, or the side (the road side) of a bus stopped along the highway.Wow, I mean really, wow. I'm sorry for you.

3) We have to pay to use them to- something equivalent to around 5 cents. So, inflation has hit here. It's not a penny--- it's 5! You'd think for that kind of change, they give you enough paper to take care of your business. I mean what if you doo more than 2 square's worth??
That seriously stinks. Sorry, couldn't resist. I remember there use to be potties you would have to pay to get into when I was little, but they were phased out pretty quickly.
I love how we can all talk about such silly things here, I have brothers and sisters on the Dis that I can laugh with more than my own real sister. Thanks guys. :thumbsup2

That's OK Eliz991, I don't either and I have kids! The reason I don't have a reference of normal is due to the fact that I had a 9lb.4oz and 10lb.12.9oz. kids. Needless to say it gives me a sliiiiiiiightly skewed idea of what sizes kids should be. And for those wondering.....no, I didn't have them by C section and yes.....I'm walking just fine.

"Millie" - you are my hero! You just made me realllllllly glad we adopted!;)

What a funny guy! My in-laws had one of those, he always got excited when we had a birthday party and sang along - he could say "happy birthday" pretty well, and then he tried to attack the balloons!:lmao:

I try to anyway.

Vera Bradley
Crocs
Baggalinis
Dooney and Bourke disney purse
BBB
Ziploc bagging clothes by day

The list goes on and on.....

Apparently I am no lady....
I wasn't going to admit it, but I didn't know who the guy in the pic was until you said. (Haven't read or seen any vampire movies since Brad Pitt was in one - yum!). But now I must confess because I have no ideas who Vera is? Had no idea how many adults wear crocs until I started reading TRs 3 months ago. Knew DandB but not the Disney line??? Just learned about BBB and ziploc packing. :rotfl2:

"Millie" - you are my hero! You just made me realllllllly glad we adopted!;)
No. That would make you the hero, dear, sweet lady.:hug::hug::hug::hug: :love::love::love: Anyone who adopts is always a hero in my book, and I'm pretty darn sure your daughters would say the same. ::yes::

:rotfl2: I was confused for a couple of seconds.....it almost went over my head....:rotfl2: (sorry couldn't resist)
Ba-dump-bump-pish! :rotfl2: Your too cute for words. :cutie: :lovestruc

I’m exactly 3 hours and 4 minutes by Southwest jet. And seeing as how I’ll never willing drive it again, I couldn’t tell you my actual mileage either. I think it’s around 1100-1200. I guess I could Google Map it and see if I every get the urge to know.

You’ll be happy to know that you now have an entire helpdesk team saying DaretXana. (Of course there’s only 3 of us, but it’s a start!)
