Marita, did you get a chance to check on the Tusker House private room today?

I need to go look at their menu again.

Hi guys.

Crazy busy in the Silly household right now. I have meetings tomorrow morning, and then I am gone all day Thursday on the 5th grade field trip. Friday I'm not sure about, I am trying to get through Thursday before I think about that!

Looks like I am way behind here?

Anyone want to do a recap and then PM me a link to it so I can find it???

I read back a tiny bit.

Marita was very chatty. And has 4 spare socks.
Not everyone is down with dissecting rats.
Twinkie is not going to WDW (??? :sad2: )

Goodnight, I have to be awake again in 7 or so hours  Carp.

I had Bible study with my Mom and sisters yesterday, then we stayed at my Mom's for dinner. Went home and had a family movie night with the boys. Watched Night at The Museum. Pretty cute.

Nab - Thanks for your concern. I'm not over doing it. Just walking and lifting 3lb weights. Walking alone doesn't make me feel like I've DONE anything, so adding the weights helps. I'd love to get my arms shapely to show off in all my cute maternity tops. (walked again last night, I feel GREAT!)

I even had a pony. She was blind in one eye, but sweet as she could be!
I had a parakeet who only had one eye. He got loose and flew into the fan and his eye fell out. :rotfl:

Nab, I know the yellow is hard to read, but it represents that the park may be a bit crowded . . . Glad it came through. MommyP, if you need the key to the abbreviations, let me know.
What kind of obsessive Disney planner would I be if I didn't know abbreviations. ;)

And

Congrats on your weight loss!
I have never had any interest in American Idol ,Dancing with the Stars or those Bachelor shows. I think the audtions on AI are sad and Simon is an obnoxious jerk.
I do like the Amazing Race.

Ouch! :rotfl:

I tolerate AI, and I like the Amazing Race. I hate DWtS and The Bachelor though.

Twinkie
- I am not looking forward to gaining 20-30 pounds. So I am going to try SO hard this time to gain little. Plus if I am in better shape I should be able to get it off easier. I hope! We'll miss you in Sept! Someone make sure you pack a box of Twinkies so she can be in all the pictures! ;)

Uma - Hi! :3dglasses How are you loving your new sunglasses? Aren't you gonna post a picture of your hollywood glasses?

Morning All,

I watched AI and House and went to bed last night.

Marita-- our socks are easy to match because they are white sports socks, it make it easier too if one get a giant hole we save the other one and there will aways be a match coming to match it. Nicholas is hard on his socks.

Poly-- Hide and Seek around here is called Man Hunt. Not sure when it changed to that but go to any park and that is what they are playing.

The game I will not let my kids play at the park is grounders. It is very popular. The kid that is "it" closes there eyes and walks around trying to find the others playing. Now this would be ok if they were on the ground but they are walking on the play equipment. Not safe at all, I have seen kids wake right off the openings. :sad2:

Mommy P-- pregnant woman always look great and glowing. Did you see hucifer baby pictures on the CB yesterday. I liked reading Wendy's trip reports. They too had a hard time getting pregnant I think.

No Pictures! What? WHY?? Be-Cause I'm losing weight and want to spring it on you all at once, not gradually. My Easter with Norah picture was carefully cropped not to show much of me. September is my goal time. I AM losing at least one pound each week, knock on wood. Hopefully.

So BYU is boycotting Dick Cheney (I'm sure that will be censored :cool2: ) because he doesn't represent their values (does he represent anyone's values anymore?) That's the big headline in Utah today :snooty:

Kay- I have yet to experience the refreshing splash you described in contact lens insertion. I have narrowed it down to 3 tries per eye and only like 5 clean-cuss-words total. Progress. I like em! I suffered with glasses for 25 years. I still like my glasses when I want to look smart...:teacher:

Goooood Morning Meeps!

Hey Nab,

I have no problem matching socks either. My youngest wears two different socks all the time- it is her fashion "statement" :rotfl: :rotfl: Oldest wears colorful ones and my husband wears white work socks and the occasional dress socks that he knots when tossing in the laundry so they get "lost" together:rotfl:

Poly-- Hide and Seek around here is called Man Hunt. Not sure when it changed to that but go to any park and that is what they are playing.

Nab, think it could be because of all the police and CSI dramas on tv now?
and that other game? Wow- I can see some serious injuries. sounds like the swimmimg pool game- Marco Polo.

Wooohoooty Mommy P on 2400 posts!!!

Poly-- I forgot about that swimming game. I am an over protective mother too! My son will be 10 next month and isn't allowed off our street.

Should have saw his face when I said I was walking with him to the new school next year. They are bused now. I would let him walk alone but I think he would get to far head of his sister or stop and talk to his friends that go to another school and be late for school.

So Tammy and I go play Jeopardy and you people post again!
I can't change my schedule for you all! I have to be in bed by nine.

Twinkie, Poly and Marita - too cute with the dirty plant talk. :lmao:

Marita - what did your husband say about his LSD tv?

Twinkie - have you all tried the computer simulators for dissection? I always wondered if it was any good.

Oh, there will still be PLENTY of me left in September, Uma!!! I'm in the "need to lose 100+ pounds" category with Celery But, I think I'll be on track to meet the 20 lb. Peeps Meet goal.

Moo - are you calling me fat? :rotfl2: Sorry. That's a joke Tammy and I have. As you all may or may not know, my name is Amber. Before Tammy and I met, she got a schitzu and named her Amber. So now we have little amber and big amber. And everytime I say "Which Amber?" she says "Big Amber" so then I yell at her. :lmao:
In case you were wondering, we're dorks and we are easily amused.

And I still haven't found that cashmere deoderant in the stores! It's making me mad!

Oooh! I second the trip report for house hunting!
With floorplans! I love floor plans! I'll show you guys my powerball (lottery) house in a bit. I already have it picked out. I go visit it sometimes since there's a model built near here.

Haley - what's the field trip? I  field trips.
If anyone is ever in Albuquerque, they have THE BEST children's science museum there. It is so much fun.
They have an ok aquarium and nice botanical gardens as well.

MommyP - Ick on the parakeet eye! My friend had a pug and I was always scared his eyes were gonna pop out.

Nab - ICKY POO! On the grounders game! How insane is that?

HI Utah!
Hi alice!
Hi Betsy Wetsy!

I'm not good at recaps.
I also don't know how to send links to people in pms.
Or to people with pms.
Someone do it for Haley?

I have to say that I prefer the term Geek.

Check out the wikipedia entries for geek, dork and nerd to make an informed decision.:thumbsup2

Last edited by MommyPoppins : Today at 08:03 AM. Reason: BabyN: What happened to you tags?

I made a comment that I had crappy tags, but at least I earned them on a thread that is now shut down, so we will not discuss that.

Anyway, I'm kind of sad without them, and I am on a campaign to be witty so I can get back into the tag fairies good graces. I was really hoping for an

Atticus Finch is my hero tag, but that was wishful thinking.:guilty:

Hi to all. Gotta run. sorry for the drive bys. :wave2:
