I am not a nerd because I am an ENFP on the Meyers Briggs type indicator test. So
I am not a geek because I do not bite the heads off live chickens and I am not disliked (I hope! ).
I will continue to be a dork.
No matter what the connotations!

As a matter of fact, my oldest dissected a blue hen last year. she won't eat chicken now.
And YouDee,the mascot, was chasing her around the student center last week. She thinks he heard what she did

So I got a stylish new haircut last week. Long layers. Dear stylist used a flat iron and I looked like a Movie Star.

Now I just look like a mom with long layers. And straight hair that ocssionally decides to curl in odd places.

So should I buy a flat iron? what do I need to know? ceramic technology? instant on??????


Is this going to ruin my hair? If I spend 20 dollars at walmarche or tarjay will I get a quality product?

I am I really going to use this????

Is it hard?

After carefu consideration, I'd say yes, buy the one at Walmart....ANDIS is a goog brand. Get "FLAT OUT" or something similar from the Walmart salon!

Put all your hair up after a lite spritzing of Flat Out except for a thin horrizontal parting. Straight iron this section. THEN take down your hair and make another horrizontal parting and flat iron that section. Repeat.

Instant movie star who doesn't look like anyone's mama!

Shoot, I forgot what I was going to say.

BabyN: I too am not in the TF goog graces. I am afraid I am never going to get goog tags again. Waa! I wish she would understand that it was the pregnacy hormones talking, not me. But I think it was a man that took my tags away, and we all know how much men are understanding of our hormones.

I have been an emotional irrational being as of late. It's not pretty.

My sis taught me how to cut the boys hair, so now I can do it. Hopefully. I took notes and video.

Just waiting for it to be nap time for Kaleb so I can go catch some rays. I think I'll call my bff this afternoon. She's been trying to call me for days but I have been unable to get to the phone so far.

Twinkie - You can handle a flat iron. I sometimes spend the time needed to flat iron my hair. It always looks so pretty and chic. But mostly I just throw it up in a pony tail or a langolier clip. By mostly I mean it's been months since I wore my hair down. Plus with my inch long roots grown out it isn't noticable when my hair is pulled up.

Celery - Nice house you picked out. My DH used to wire houses for Beazer down here. Of course the models down here are butt ugly. No brick or shape. Just straight lines and Florida colored stucco.

Celery-- I would love to afford that house too. Fully decorated to of course. My furniture would not go with a house like that.

Twinkie-- you looked like a movie star to me when I last saw you.....Can't help with the flat iron though.

Can't win the lottery because we never play. My Mom did win $102,000. about 10 years ago. She still plays but hasn't won again. We can't even win a free ticket. So we will buy the odd scratch tickets. Most we won is $10.00.

Not lucky at draws either. Well we did win one draw when we were in Jamaica. Won a boat cruise around the island or something but couldn't use it because we were leaving the next day. So they gave us a bottle of wine instead. We don't drink wine either.

As soon as Ivy gets picked up we're going on our walk.

Then we're getting Chinese food for dinner.

I would love to lay out in the sun! Alas it's only in the 60's and windy today.
Sun in a bottle works but doesn't boost ya like the real sun does.

I have an empty wallet though because none of my 3 daycare mommys paid me yet....grrrr. Usually on mondays or fridays.

The mom that was pissy (only one was) that I was going to Disneyland in May hasn't paid me in over a month! (pooh-girl's mom). If I didn't so enjoy cleaning pooh daily, I'd give her the boot. (which, she's gone once her baby brother is born).

Twinkie, can't help with flat iron either. I am lucky to use hot curlers once in a while. I really need a haircut, I havent been since last September.

nab, the socks tht dont match are hubbies dress socks. He even bought one of those net things where you supposedly can keep them all together
DD does her own sport socks. But even back when I did them, we always had different styles and still ended up with odd ones.
