Will I regret?

I’d give the garden wing a shot. We’ve stayed in the tower before and I did like it but I also found d it quite noisy, even in our room. I’d definitely stay there again but if the garden wing was available, I’d try that.

I personally wouldn’t do garden wing. I feel like the best part of CR is the excitement from down below and the monorail going through. When Ive stayed I’ve stood outside my room door and just enjoyed seeing all the excitement from chef mickeys. It does add some noise (both times I could hear it a little from our room), but we really love it.

I would say to save a little, I would book the water view instead of theme park. While it’s nice for the fireworks, for the most part you’re just looking at a parking lot.

Hi all.
My question is , will I regret booking a garden wing room at Contemporary instead of Tower? Thoughts please?
I didn’t. We stayed there this spring in garden wing. I really liked how close it was to the pool. No need to walk through to a lobby to get to and from pool. I also loved not having to deal with elevators (we were on 1st floor). No waiting, just walk through the building and out, or up escalators if going to shops, some food, or monorail.

We stayed in the old North Garden Wing a couple times pre-BLT. The kids were little and we loved the first floor patio so the kids could run around a little outside.

The rooms are big, at that time views were not important to us, everything about it was great.
The North Garden Wing was the best! I'm still upset that they tore it down for BLT!

I believe the elevators are original to the building. It makes you realize how much lighter people packed when suitcases didn't have wheels!
Yes same generation as the original Long houses at the Poly. They are the standard size for the late 1960s when the 2 resorts were designed, and built.

They have been updated but the elevator shafts are the limiting factor. They are not going to get any larger.
