Everything Park Reservations - Please Read Post 1

You should be able to set up different parks for different people. However, 2 things to keep in mind - if you're entering the parks after 2PM, you don't need a park reservation (assuming you might enter later in the day if at a convention), except to get into MK on Sat and Sun.
Thank you, I was not aware of that.

No, convention tickets are not considered 'dated' and DO require a park reservation. Can you please update your post? Thanks!
I purchased convention tickets last year, but didn't end up using them as we got sick. However after adding them to my MDE, I see that they show an expiry of Jan 2026. Can you only make park reservations linked to dates of the actual conference attended?

Sorry, I have no idea. I would recommend calling Disney although I’m a little confused as you say the tickets have an expiry of Jan 2026. If that is the case and your conference already passed, it appears you can use them for dates that are not part of your convention?

I was able to make a park reservation in MDE for May 2025 using those tickets, so it looks like it should be a go. Unless for some reason they deny entry at the park (but again, if the ticket says expiry of 2026 I don't see why that would occur).

I’m sure you will be just fine as your tickets are valid and they allowed you to make a reservation. Have fun!!

I have convention tickets for a Dance Team comp next weekend. I've made our park reservations with our 3 day hopper tickets. I was surprised this morning when it said I wasn't eligible to book LLSP for the final days of our trip. Today is 3 days out for our first day in parks (and the LLSP I wanted were gone :( ). Does the "length of stay" booking only work with the date based tickets?

With those tickets I believe you can only book 3 days before each day of your ticket. I would recommend asking your question in the pinned Ticket Questions thread as there are people on there who are very knowledgeable about how the tickets work.

I asked this in the lightning lane thread but might be better here. I have old non expire Park Hopper tickets, so I need to reserve my park days. I would like to spend a morning at AK then hop mid-morning to MK. I would like to buy MPLL for MK so I can prebook there. Do I reserve my park as MK or AK? Reading through various threads I've seen conflicting answers.

I believe you need to book for MK. Once you have purchased and booked at MK you can change your reservation to AK.

Have annual pass park reservations been pretty easy to get this year? I just looked at the calendar and for the Sorcerer's Pass everything except May 4th looks green. In the past, availability would start to wane about a month out. Wondering if this is still the trend or if plenty of availability is the new normal. We will be buying the Sorcerer's Pass this year and I was going to buy now to make reservations for August, but now wondering if I can wait until summer to buy. Anyone have any insight?

Reservations have rarely filled to capacity this year.
