OKW Building 25 questions

Has anyone stayed in building 25 at OKW? We were wondering how you liked it and how the views were? Did you feel you were close enough to the Hospitality House?

I stayed in building 26 on my first stay at OKW. It was an easy walk to the Hospitality House, the bus stop was right there. Great location. I had requested 23 to 26. It really isn't a good idea to request one building, you might be better off with a general area. I requested 23 to 26 the following year and we ended up in 28, which had no view at all, it was surrounded by trees and brush. After that, I requested a water view on Turtle Pond Road and loved it.

The map is sort of deceptive. On our last trip, we stayed in building 48, which looks pretty far away from Hospitality House on the map. DH was curious, so he used the trip odometer to check the distance. It seemed pretty far, but ended up being on 3/10 of a mile. Less than a 10 minute walk to HH.

Building 25 would be VERY close to HH! We consider anything up to 29 to be close to HH.

We were in bldg. 24 in Sept. and LOVED the location - just perfect for us really, with pretty golf course views. It was a very quick walk to HH to catch buses, swim, etc.

I do agree that it is not a good idea to request a specific building, because you reduce your chances of getting what you really want by doing that. Instead request an area or the specifics of what is most important to you...i.e. smoking preference, poximaty to a pool, HH, view. close to a bus stop etc.
