well it seems I started out on the wrong foot here. so hope I do it right this time.
thank you all for the welcome. yes firefighter w/ uniform. traded my old one in and got this job. also drive truck, today I get to go to ky. that is the state . is that better???
I'm slow on who is who will just take me some time.
Barry did not mean too get off on the wrong foot with you. hope things are straight ???????
don't forget to watch the moon tonight. between 8 - 8:30 I'll be on my way back so I should get a very good view of it

Good morning, ff326. I don't think you started out on the wrong foot...you're fine. All right ladies...quit panting over the uniform! I can hear all of you. Going to KY? I have a good friend, my son's Godmother actually, who is from KY. Just met her mom and brother when she remarried a couple weeks ago. Such nice people. I'll definitely be outside watching that moon this evening...like every evening. I just love watching the moon and thinking that my friends in other parts of the country can see the same moon I'm looking at at the same time. I've always been a star gazer. I remember when I still lived home with my parents, during the summer months dad and I would always go out to the picnic table in the backyard and just lean back and gaze up at the sky while talking about anything and everything. Even saw a very occasional shooting star! I miss those days. Everyone have a GREAT day!!!

I wonder how the date went. I spent last night reformatting and reinstalling my OS. I was watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade while I was doing it.

I don't know...I even PM'd her but haven't gotten a response yet. Maybe she's STILL out with him!! At least you got something done that you needed to do, Barry. Nothing exciting here this weekend. And now it's raining. The hilight of my day so far was my walk this morning and DISing. Oh, brother! I really should get off of here and read my Physics and start my Lit paper on a poem I can't seem to choose. More fun!

PW, you could try the "pin" method to choose your poem. Open the book at a random page, jab a straight pin into the page (thinking, probably, about how *much* you're looking forward to the assignment) and whatever page the pin pokes through to is your poem.

Thanks, Kim! I just may try that!! I still haven't decided on one. I still haven't opened the book. I went over on my last paper by 200 words. I was hoping I could cut down this assignment by 200, but he won't let it fly...rats! A 1,000 word paper on a poem.

Ok so an update you say??

First off, let me clearify as TigerBear pointed out, we are just friends, so it wasn't a "date" so much as "going out/hanging out" whatever you want to call it!!!

I met him at his place at about 5pm. I live 30 minutes away from EVERYTHING so it made sense to meet at his place and take one car. Skip some boring stuff.....we had dinner at Friday's and then off to see the new Matrix. I agree with some of the critics I have heard. This trilogy would have done better with some editting into a sequel, or even a 3 hour epic. The third Matrix, along with the second in my opinion was boring in spots. After the movie we went back to his place and watched a DVD, and hung out. I had to be at work at 9am on Friday morning, so I made sure to leave his place by 7am in order to get home to shower and change!! Before you all ooohhh and aaahhh, we are still "just friends" nothing happened!!

The reason I have not yet updated you guys is that I worked all day Friday and then had school work to do, and needed to really catch up on my sleep after pulling the all nighter Thursday!
