The Updated and All-Inclusive Costume Thread

Well changed my idea on my wine and dine outfit.... now going with Hamilton themed with The Schuyler Sisters. Basically I am in my revolutionary stage with my life right now. So feeling this vibe. The shirt started it, it is from tee public. I am sad it is a cotton shirt though. But loved the graphic design. Then did top stitch couture for custom skirt. This was made to put the bib on the front of the skirt.


Need to have different shorts/pants on and different bra.

Also trying to decide if I should do a custom visor or bow for my head...

I'm going to be making a 3/4 circle skirt out of this beautiful, shiny, striped rainbow fabric for my Rainbow Run 5K at the end of June


And since it's striped, I don't want to just cut a donut out of the fabric (even though it's plenty big enough) because I think having the stripes going one direction in the front and back and a different direction on the sides looks dumb. So I'm going to do panels and get, and I need an opinion on which direction the stripes should go on the panels. So I whipped up 2 mockups in my graphics program and printed them out.

I also have the option to do a full circle skirt with more panels, if I alternate the direction of the fabric. I need to stop having ideas and make a decision!

@Naomeri I definitely like the first and last vertical options most! The first one especially looks very fun.
