Okay...I've called the Late Night DISers, now I'm calling the SINGLE DISers!

Well, I guess sitting in a tree would be a way to avoid some of the hazards we've been discussing. Snakes, poison ivy, etc. ;)
But you might have the snakes any way. Some like to climb into the trees...especially a Ficus I hear. ;)

Oh Kim, I really didn't mean to imply anything. I was just trying to be funny. Please forgive me if I made either of you feel ackward as it really was not my intention!! :guilty:

I don't feel awkward at all. Amused, maybe. Sorry, the ironic lilt to the voice doesn't always come through on the keyboard (and I didn't see an appropriate smiley for that!) So, don't worry your pretty head about it.

That's the truth! I notice that especially when I've got an IM going with someone. The words I want to stress pretty much have to be in all caps, but that still doesn't get the tone of voice across. Give me the telephone any day! But that will run up my phone bill since I do a lot of talking with those out of state!

Unlimited night and weekend minutes with nationwide longdistance, got to love it! !

For a while when I was at my most stressed during the divorce I'd take a nightly walk ('cause I did't get cell reception in the house) and just call somebody to talk. Support group *and* exercise, what a deal! Cell reception is perfectly fine in the new place, so I don't get as much exercise. :smooth:

Oh! I had to read that a couple times. I thought you said you were so going to hit "on" her! LOL! You confused me since she's not Kim!

I'm so going to hit you too! :)

Of course, it'd be a bit of a challenge to type while sitting in the tree, even with my laptop, and that really is all we've been doing...

Don't buy a new dress for the wedding yet. :)

I suppose if things do happen, we can thank (or blame) Pin Wizard! I can get the tag fairies to change her avatar to a monkey with a title "This is me!" :)

And I'll hit her too....with a Nerf baseball bat. :)

I was going to say thank you or...uh oh! And I just noticed you have 2 new tags and was going to compliment you and congratulate you. But since you're thinking of changing my avatar to a monkey, I CAN'T DO THAT! Hey...if you notice my tag, I DEFEND the TAG FAIRIES! They wouldn't do that to me! :teeth:

I think it's time to take out my lime green duct tape! Do I need to call the other defenders? ::yes::

Oh! That might be welcomed right about now. :smooth:

Ohhhhh, the DIS Singles Club reaches a "new" level of kinkyness!!

Dontcha just hate those moments when you are trying to do 100 things at once and then you do something stupid like spill food on your keyboard?? Last night my plans for my evening out got rescheduled to tonight at 5pm. I have been working all day on school assignments and I just realized it was about 2:30 and I hadn't eaten yet. I actually often forget to eat meals when I am hard at work on projects. So I decide to take a few minutes and make myself some lunch and check in on the DIS for a bit, before hurrying to finish up my assignments so I can get ready for tonight! Of course, in my rush I spill my food on my keyboard, and then have to waste the time cleaning all the crumbs out....

Sorry you had a mess to clean up. Have FUN on your date tonight!! ;)

Well even a bad date is better than no date at all if you ask me!! I'm at the point where if he's breathing, I'll go out with him.

Hey PW, I sent you a PM way earlier today. Did you get it?

Is it actually a date if they are "friends"? I have a male friend who was friends with a woman for months. They did datey-type stuff together and he developed feelings for her. When he told her his feelings, he was rejected. I was :( for him. Relationships are hard.

I have someone in my life that I would like to kick up a notch to this level. My friends seem to think he's always had a 'thing' for me, (What kind of 'thing' is anybodies guess!) and I wouldn't want to jeapordize what relationship we have now. I'd just like to be able to go to a movie, dinner, whatever with someone other than my daughters! Guess if you make the ground rules clear from the get go, Hakuna Matata!

I have so many friends and my SISTER that started this way. And they all ended up marrying the guy. My sister isn't that far yet, but she's on her way if the timing is right. I have a friend who I've loved for YEARS! But I won't tell him that. Just don't want to risk losing that friendship. It means too much. If he were to say something to me first about any feelings he might have, I'd spill my guts. LOL!
