What time is the castle lighting?
So glad that you had a great night! Thanks for sharing your experience! It looks like you were able to get the hot chocolate and cookies before the party even started? How were they? Do you know if they're available at all locations early?
Would love to see the answer to this too!
Also, do the characters sign autographs during the meet & greets?
Thanks!
Flynn,Rapunzel,Cinderella,Prince Charming, Snow White, Snow Prince, Aurora and Prince Phillip, Peter Pan & Wendy were all signing autographs when I was there Thursday.
Jack Skellington doesn't sign, but you get given a really nice signed card for him when you enter the line
Sorry if this has been answered before, but I looked and didn't see it. My husband and I will be checking into our hotel at around 5:30. Can we buy tickets to this event without having additional park passes for the day?
If you get there after 4 yes
We were there for the first party and on line by 3:30. They opened the lines just before 3:45 and we made our 4:15 BOG reservation with time to spare if that's any help.Driving up from Ft Myers tomorrow for the party.
Plan on arriving at wdw around 2.
Allowing 30m to park & unload and 1 hour to travel from ttc (hoping to ferry for a change, we usually monorail) that should get us into the entry line at 330.
Hoping that has us crossing the turnstile at 4 sharp. First FP is 330-430.
We have MBs and a hard ticket.
Solid plan? Any thoughts?
There will be turnstiles designated for party entry so don't worry about the time down to the minute. We've entered as early as 3:45 and there will be CMs and signage directing you through and to get wristbands.I'm also curious about timing, following on Shh's question:
We'll be staying onsite, but we were planning on driving so we could get back to the hotel quickly following fireworks with two young kids. We could send one driver and have others take the bus, as we have three adults and two kids. Is it super crowded getting into the party right at 4? And is there a better way of transportation if we have choices?
Also, if we're trying to enter the park at 4 with our party ticket, do we have to be extra careful not to go in a minute early, lest we accidentally use a regular park ticket for the day at, say, 3:59? Or is it very clear, even with a magic band, that we're entering only for the party and using only that ticket?
I feel exceptionally paranoid asking these questions, but I like to be prepared . . .
Also, we're going on 12/10 if someone wants to add us to the list of Dis'ers attending.

Again rain is going to be a non issue - you will all have street time positive energy![]()
Thanks so much for your review of your party night....Fingers crossed we don't have a very long wait to meet Repunzel and Flynn...very worried my husband who is very impatient wont stay in lines while we wait to meet characters that I know my daughter would love to seeWe went on Thursday, 11/12 and had the most AMAZING time! It was just my 4 year old son and I so we mostly focused on rides and characters, as he doesn't have much of an attention span for parades and fireworks. Pretty much all the rides were walk-on. Even though Mine Train said it had 40 minute wait (and the cast member insisted it was accurate), we waited maybe 10 minutes. Since we saw Wishes the night before, we decided to ride on Dumbo during the fireworks. It was so beautiful! My son just laughed the entire ride. Then we were so close to Jack Skellington we went straight there during the tail end of the fireworks and had only a 10-15 minute wait! We also had a great time with Captain Jack at his meetup. We waited all night to see Rapunzel & Flynn, the line ranged from 40 minutes to over 100 minutes all night. Anna & Elsa's line was much shorter. We finally got in line around 11:30, and got in at 11:50. They were the best characters I have ever seen! They spent so long with my son, and just made him feel so special! He couldn't stop smiling after we left. It was definitely the cherry on top of a perfect night. I am SO glad we attended, and we definitely made some memories I will hold near and dear forever. Thanks for all the great tips and info in this thread!
They were fine-we sat right on the curb and even had some interaction with some characters! It seemed much more manageable than the 8:30 parade. Thanks! How were the crowds around you?
