"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

I've looked through the thread and I haven't found quite the info I'm looking for. I have questions about the dessert party during the Christmas party. It says check-in 60 minutes prior. Do all guests have to be there during check-in? 60 minutes prior would be around 7:30 which would be very close to the first parade time. We were planning on getting our spot on main street around 7. If one person can run over and check-in that would be ok but if everyone has to go we may have to figure something else out.

Flynn,Rapunzel,Cinderella,Prince Charming, Snow White, Snow Prince, Aurora and Prince Phillip, Peter Pan & Wendy were all signing autographs when I was there Thursday.
Jack Skellington doesn't sign, but you get given a really nice signed card for him when you enter the line

Donald, Scrooge, Daisy and Minnie were NOT signing the other night.

Also THIS year I can't go to the Christmas party due to me getting a huge promotion and not wanting to ask the boss for a day off in my "90 day" probation time period. However, vacation picks for the new year came out.....

I'm going to Disney Cruise in January
I'm going to Aulani in December
I'm going to the Christmas Party in November next year

So I lost the battle this year, however I did go to the Halloween party this year!

Hi everyone I am new to the board and I love reading all the tips! I was wondering if anyone saw if any of the stores in MK had the Holiday Minnie ears headband? We are going to the party our first night Dec. 15 and I wanted to wear them but they are no longer on the disney store website. Any of the stores open during the party have them?

At the party tonight ... Let us in at 3:45 ... Ride mine train with fast past and in line for Sandy Claus by 4:10 with four or five groups ahead of us ... Hoping to make next fast pass window 4:30 to 5:30 for Peter Pan and should definitely make 5:30 to 6:30 Anna and Elsa fast pass ... Here's hoping this is a better crowd night than the first Halloween party cause that was a gong show.

Go into the holiday shop and filter by hats/ears. The use the extra filter to sort by adults and the color green. It's the second item that comes up.

Chasiti, we were at the party Thursday and were able to find the sequined Minnie ears at the park easily. We bought ours at the hat shop on Main Street but they were available at multiple locations, including the carts when you first walk into the park. Hope this helps! Have a great time

Do they hand out wristbands in the park starting at 4 or 7? Our first fp is 310/410 (we have day tix but it's our arrival day so won't rush in)

Don't know why. It's one line for all 4 characters (Donald/Scrooge and daisy/Minnie). The interaction was really good and the line long. My guess is they weren't signing to move the line quicker. There was a CM telling people at the end of the line.

I liked the cookies. They reminded me of something I couldn't place. Nice and soft. Also it was weird, some places at super long lines and others no line at all so make sure to look around.

Anyone concerned about the rain showing for 11/20 now this would be our first mvmcp and the forecast doesn't look good, for the evening esp.

I know it can change, it has all week lol so here's to hoping!!!!

I liked the cookies. They reminded me of something I couldn't place.

Were they cinnamon? I've read that they've had snickerdoodles in past years. We aren't fans of them and I'm hoping they've changed to something else this year.

For the person asking about the wait time at A&E ... I know this isn't the same but we had excellent luck getting in line for the Mine Train at 6:15. Posted time was 60 minutes and the staff person told me that was accurate but we decided to take a chance. We only waited 30 minutes. I think people were both discouraged by the posted wait time and more importantly, there were very few people entering from the fast pass line so the standby line really moved fast. I suspect we would have been through even faster if we had waited until closer to 6:30 since everyone's FP ended then.
