Fall 2026 itineraries

Its way cheaper to plan in advance than last minute. I've repriced trips we've booked a year and a half to two years in advance closer to the departure date and they are sometimes thousands more than what we paid.
Depends. Lately the last minute rates on Disney cruises are pretty enticing—but if you are platinum/pearl/concierge you are often sacrificing your onboard booking window in the exchange.

Does anybody know what the summer 2026 Treasure 7 day sailings in a verandah cost when they first went on sale? My kids REALLY want to complete their collection of ships so I was going to book it (and then potentially modify when new treasure sailings are released) and was very surprised that it would be over $12k for the cheapest verandah. 😵‍💫

Disney Cruise Line Blog has a page where they recorded the opening summer 2026 prices. Scroll down for the Treasure https://disneycruiselineblog.com/20...r-2026-sailings-a-look-at-opening-day-prices/

ETA: based on double occupancy, no extra guests in the stateroom.

I've found the complete opposite. How do buy airfare and book hotels two years out?
If you're not from the US and are booking a fly drive or fly and stay package then booking a year and a half to 2 years out is very easy.

Not everyone can do short notice leave or drop the money in such a short time. For some, its easier to know the cost, pay the deposits amd make payments over time. Often works out cheaper to book earlier as well (i.e flights, car and hotel costs go up the closer to the time unless its off peak and there isn't many bookings, same way open day pricing tends to be the best time to book DCL unless you're willing to get a GT rate or hold out for some kind of promo that may or may not happen)

We booked 2 Deluxe Family Verandahs on a September 26 Treasure sailing on Gold opening day.

Cabin 1 - 2 adults = $5005
Cabin 2 - 3 adults = $6268

Edit to add: (as I realised after posting) these include the 10% placeholder discount

We have a treasure verandah room for an eastern Caribbean sailing in February and I booked it pretty close to when it came out. It’s 9178 after taxes/fees for 3 people (2 adults 1 child)

What airline lets you book a flight two years in advance? If you could your flight would most likely change 20 times before you took off. There is a sweet spot for airfare and cars it's usually about 2-4 months out. WDW doesn't release discounts more than a few months in advance and booking cruises on opening day seems to be of little benefit right now.

I am amazed at how many people can book cruises or any vacations so far out.
I’ve planned every week of annual leave I get except one until the end of 2027. Some things I haven’t assigned actual dates to, and some are just pencilled in as “Wish 4” and an approx number of days assigned to it, but the plan is there.

I can’t book annual leave last minute, I have to plan well in advance.
