Good morning everybody,

i have been informed about this site by karen mouse , she gave me some great advice ( even if her hubby supports birmingham!!!!poor chap!!!)

so is there plenty of people allready booked on this cruise?we thought we had book really early when we booked in oct2006 but it would appear not?

ive loads of questions but i think most have already been answered so i will look through the previous threads.

hello everybody

and hello karen

Woo Hoo! - you found us :woohoo:

Its a really friendly thread - you only have about 80 pages to read to catch up with whats going on :rotfl:

No, seriously though, a few pages back there is a list of everyone who is going and where they are from... someone will add you to it if you cant find it (I cant - sorry! )

Bascially, we're all a bunch of disney nuts going on a big boat - thats it really :lmao:

Introduce yourslef and your family and come and join in the fun.

There is also a kids thread for this cruise just started for Olivia (I think that was your daughters name but if it isnt - oops sorry!) so she can make friends too.

Welcome aboard :wave2:

hi karen,

where is the childrens thread?how do i find that?because boy oh boy can olivia chat! i think girls are born talking, mylittle girl is so exited about this cruise and she is really looking forward to the kids club , she loves em, and its a great way for them to make friends.oppppssss there goes my bleep got to rush.

Welcome Medicalman!!

I think the UK is now in the lead for cruisers (despite what karen had said in her response to your first post on the other thread). Yes there are a lot of Wisconsin cruisers, 5 at last count, but the UK is now at 6 I believe. Everywhere else is at 2 or less.

One thing you gotta love about all these UK DISers is that when you wake up in the morning there is a ton of dialogue since you are all 6 hours or so ahead of us. I'm sure the UKers get the same when they get up.

Jeff

p.s. If you click on my name and look for "other posts" by me, you will see the post that Karen talked about where you can add your name. If you don't find it, just post your names and where your from (if you want) and I can update the list. Again, welcome aboard.

Woo Hoo another UK'er. Welcome Aboard Medicalman

Heather

If you go to www.cassworld.ca/dcl2007-home.htm (I think thats right) you can see a webpage that one of our fellow cruisers Cass made - click on the link and you can see some of us. We have put photos on there so you can spot us (and avoid us! :rotfl: ) on the ship.

ps - wow - brits are in the lead eh? Brits 6 :cheer2: v Winsconsins 5 :cheer2: - close thing though, could all change in the next few months. Our ship could be invaded by the French! - eek! :rotfl:

Ok,,.... only kidding incase any of you are french

I rang Mr V the other day and was quoted £3650 for 5 flights and a 7 seater car for the first 7 days, with that my other half said ring round dear hence the delay in booking which has now resulted in Mr V being booked up and us having to go with SECOND choice at a cost of £3821...GOOD EH?.... :sad2:

PS...That's one less dress for the duchess..... :teeth:

We leave on the 13th,grab mickey by the lugs on the 20th and the swat team TRY to evict us on the NOV 3,we fly home the same day .... :teeth:

We have a week on I Drive before :sail: on the :boat: for a week of party: and :drinking1 before we get off the ship and  then :drive: to Lake Beuna Vista for a few more days then fly home to miserable Birmingham to do the :laundy:

ps - if you see the Swat Team carrying a mad woman off the ship on the 27th - thats me! - they'll have to drag me off kicking and screaming.

"Thats one less dress for the Duchess" - yeah right! - she'll just say "What, this old dress?,new?.... no.... had it ages dear". Works on my hubby too!

Sean,

I'm definitely not a top cruiser. Just spend too much time on the DIS getting information. :rolleyes1

If you're wondering my looks, I am usually about 5 ft tall with big ears. I wear red pants or shorts, a black top and yellow shoes. You'll see me all over the ship. :lmao:

Jeff

Welcome Sean, Cath and Olivia!! I'm one of the Wisconsinites Jeff spoke of. Hey Jeff, do you think it would be uncool to post a message on the main thread inviting all the Wisconsinites to this one? We have to rustle up a few more. party:

We are flying out on Oct 18th at 9:45 am and will be in the most wonderful place on earth by 1:45 and at MNSSHP that night. We are even getting Midwest Signature service on the way down, saver on the way back. Love those chocolate chip cookies. I was able to get the best rate, $193.50 roundtrip. All of you Wisconsinites should look into your tickets if you haven't already the rates on Midwest are the best they have been in a while. Most under $200 for that weekend, returning Sunday. The plane was over half full for Sunday when I looked today.

It is so cold today that I dream about the warm weather someday returning.

:cool1: Judy
