Our plane leaves Raleigh at 8:30 tomorrow

Glad to hear a bunch of you already made it to Florida Safely. My kids also drove me bonkers and DH STILL NOT HOME FROM WORK!!!!!! Flying out of Boston tomorrow 7:44 am!!!!

We had to cancel today. Both kids are really sick so we are not going to be able to go :( We are attached to the nebulizers. I hope everyone has great fun. I hope to read some trip reports!

Ok, I have four suitcases done and zipped ready to pack in the van, just three more to go. I am usually so much more prepared. I hope everyone has safe travels. See you Saturday :cheer2:

Okay, we're down to the crunch. 3 suitcases for 3 of us, and 3 carry-ons. I was told it would be okay to not bring the kitchen sink.

As first time cruisers we're really not sure of what "extras" to bring. I've scanned the threads and picked up a couple of pillow cases and markers, and made door magnets (DW had a lot of fun with what we have planned for our door).

Can anybody offer any last minute suggestions for things to pack which most people don't think of until they get onboard and say "Oh, I should have brought that? I'd hate to get there and say "Oh, I wish we'd have known that or thought of that". Items such as an extension cord, etc etc.

One of the best things ever is the over the door shoe holder for all the little things.. The bathrooms just do not have enought counter or shelf space.

SO sorry to hear your bad news. Hopefully the kids will be better very soon.

FE People, please remember to alter your lists to remove Buckeye Princess

The Mexican Family are here now - we all ate at ThaiThai last night - it was OUTSTANDING. The Georgia families arrive in time for dinner tonight, and we hope the CT/IL "Aunties" do also. FISH LIPS here we come!

Safe travels all. See you TOMORROW!

tomorrow is cruise day!!!! woohoo!!!!!

buckeye princess- so sorry to hear about ur little ones and having to cancel, we will miss you guys, but the kids health is most important! hope they get better soon!

Booooooooo, that sucks! One of mine was hooked up to a nebulizer and taking meds during the first of the week. We've learned to always pack the nebulizer now. Finally worked its way out after a couple of days. Hope they get better!

Got our little 'checking out tomorrow' slip under the door this morning at the resort, usually this is the equivalent of a pink slip or something, but today it meant: CRUISE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I woke up and started a load of laundry, seems weird to wash clothes while on vacation, but hopefully this will prevent us from having to do it on the boat. :thumbsup2

Hopefully hitting up the last of the Food and Wine fest today, and the weather here is looking COOL, ie, 48 for the low in Orlando, :scared1: We are looking forward to warmer temps!

Picking up the in=laws at 3:30 and then off to the airport!! For those of us that haven't been lucky enough to be in WDW or Florida already, have a safe trip!! See you all at the meet & greet!! :cool1:  :yay: :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2: :yay:  :cool1:

just got home..... missing the ship already, CANT WAIT FOR NEXT CRUISE! it was great to meet everyone, had a great time doing FE thank for all the great stuff, it was so fun coming back every day and seeing the new stuff! my daughter had so much fun, delivering gifts and seeing everyones doors and FE"s, hope everyone gets home safe!

Safely tucked in at Wilderness Lodge Villas. It was a VERY fun cruise - and WOW, the FE gifts were super! LOVELY hand mades - book marks, a kitchen towel, potholder, plus the sweets, hand washes, etc. and a very useful firstaid kit!

My whole group, including the first timers, rebooked on board :)

SO sorry I could not find the room number of the couple celebrating their 50th - I forgot where I wrote it down. DID find some very clever doors - must have been dis-ers, just not on the fe list.

SO many nice people. Can't wait to do it again.

Back home and still feeling the sway of the ship!
Re-booked online loved every part of the cruise especially PALO! Guest services was a little lacking but every other CM was spot on! Service was great and our server was amazing.

BTW: anyone notice the last night we went through a storm? Ship was rocking like crazy!

Hope everyone has a safe journey back.

First night and last night are always a little rough because of crossing the gulf stream, but I guess the last night we had a pretty good cross wind too. Too bad! I slept through it, and missed all the excitement.

HDG, why did you rebook on line? Doesn't you miss the 10% discount and the on board credit by not booking on board?

My mistake I meant to say on board....I frequently type the word "online" LOL...

We had a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time. Did I mention it was wonderful? Everything from the food to the service to our room was top notch. On the way home we were discussing how hard it would be to choose between the parks and cruises.

We did notice the rough seas on the last night. Made for some wobbly legs yesterday! We tried to visit Downtown Disney before heading to the airport and we didn't make it far with our wobbly legs and heads. Unfortunately, our flight to Minneapolis was super delayed and we ended up spending about 10 hours at the Orlando airport... yuck.

First ever cruise in our lives and all we can say is WOW!!!!! AMAZING!!!!.

We're so sorry we didn't make it to the meet and greet, but we were so overwhelmed with taking in everything on the ship that the time had slipped by before we knew it.

The relatives that we sailed with have been on other cruises and they were very impressed with the way that Disney does things.

We decided to spend Saturday after the cruise at the Magic Kingdom, and spent most of our time there talking about the cruise.

All I can say is "Thank you Disney" for making this one of the best vacations we have ever had. Things went so smoothly from the time we boarded the plane in Canada, until the time we returned home.

DW and DD both found the last night at sea a bit rough, but it's all part of the experience, and I told them just to think of it as a new Disney ride.

DW is still trying to find her land legs. :rotfl:

So am I. We went to Epcot on Saturday and couldn't make it to the fireworks. Friday night was a killer. I almost felt like I was on a roller coaster. I miss my room steward and servers. The cruise was awesome.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who participated in the FE.

Boy did we luck out with the weather. Hated to go back to work, but how else do you pay for another vacation.

Karen
