hi FloridaCat,

sending wishes and pixie dust your way for a magical vacation. have a great time. enjoy. :D

Thanks very much. If anyone has a special question or information they would like, post before 6:00 PM , 7/6/03, and I will do my best to do it for you.

This will be our first trip to the WL since they started concierge, and I was wondering if anyone has any reviews on the concierge at WL. It sounds really awesome, and I can't wait to go. My DH and I always said the only thing lacking at WL was concierge, and now they have it! It will be so perfect! Any info or opinions would be appreciated.

We stayed concierge in May. It was nice. The food was good - especially the cobbler from Artist Point. However, several times when the cobbler was gone, it wasn't refilled. This was early in the evening. Basically, get there early. Also, if you want to take bottled water, you have to ask. They only have one big bottle of water for you to pour. We made all of our PS arrangements so none of that needed to be done. When I inquired about in room sitting, they gave me a number to call for info.

All in all, I would do it again, but only at an "upgrade" price when checking in. I don't think I would spend the $100+ extra a night.

Also, The view was EXCELLENT! We had room 7060. I'm in the process of putting the pictures of our view up on the web. Let me know if you want to see them.

Yes!!! Pictures are a MUST! We want to see everything!!! Post a URL or email or PM me with a link!!!

Thanks!

Fred

Click on "Our Disney Trips" and then you want the 2003 trip!

Some of the pics may be blurry. Also, I have more that I need to put up! I just started doing this last week so....

One more thing I forgot to add in my post above, our mousekeeper was Diane (or Dianna). Anyway, she was wonderful! I can't say enough good things about her. She made going back to the room fun with all of the towel animals that she made. I have pics of these too - I'll try to post them on the site tonight!

beth,

just wanted to say i loved your website. pictures are great, can't wait for more. really cute set up on the site.

you have two very handsom boys. :D

Great pics! You had a good view of the fireworks for sure! If you have them, please post more pics of the concierge areas at the lodge. :)

Thanks for providing me with my daily "fix". :)

bump - and my kids want to check the countdown timer!

Mary

I had to check it out. It looks like we'll be there the same week.

I've been trying to put together an itinerary today. I finally found cheap airfare yesterday for $162.50 round trip which came to $650 for all four of us. I feel like I did pretty good. We had started to think about driving and then this popped up. With our airfare reserved and the September hours posted I've been feeling like I could really start planning.

We plan to spend more time relaxing at the Lodge this time. Is there anything special that any of you do when just hanging out around the lodge?

My DH loves to take a good book and go to the lounge on the 4th floor and curl up on the sofa by the fireplace. I love to sit on the lounge on the 5th floor and watch the boats come and go. We both enjoy the front porch and the fireplace in the lobby as well. I could spend the whole day at the Lodge and not be bored......

How quiet or loud was the hall noise outside your room?

Your pictures were great!!!! cute sons. :D :D :D
Keep posting!

Beth,
Great pictures, thanks for sharing. I love the little "arrgh" pirate.
I understand completely about checking the countdown clocks. I'm trying real hard to fight off severe countdown clock envy, especially those belonging to RatPack and Majestic.

Quite honestly, I don't remember any noise outside the room what-so-ever.

I was concerned when we checked in because even though we had a perfect view of the castle, it was above the service area. I was afraid we would be kept up all night by the delivery trucks beeping in the night. However, that wasn't the case. We all slept piecefully (including my 8mo. old son).

I have to post or look at an old post everyday to see how much longer. That thing doesn't move fast enough!:D

Beth,
Thanks so much for the info. I need to sit down and put up my counter. It won't be long now. But not as soon as some of you.:bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Did the pirate bandanas have the Mickey ears on them too? It looks like it from the pictures.
Yep, they had ears! He had a blast!

By the way everyone, if you stop and see the site, please be sure to sign the guestbook!
