I wouldn't ask about an upgrade until check in.

I don't think CRO has the authority to offer upgrades.

I wouldn't even call WL before arrival.

You could have it noted on your ressie that you are celebrating special occasions and if you fax your room requests before hand maybe you could do something creative.

We never fax and let the chips fall where they may.

You could always ask about a concierge upgrade for an extra charge at check in. That would be a nice way to celebrate.

At the far end of the check in counter, towards the hall, there is an information area. Park maps, time sheets and Disney newsletters outling WDW events for that week. Be sure to pick them up.

FloridaCat, I can't help, but I can empathize. I've been trying to get reviews of HOB Gospel Brunch. Not much has been offered. Maybe these great folks can help us.

Hi FloridaCat. It has been a few years since we've been there. The place didn't really impress us that much, food was just ok and service wasn't that great. Like I said it was a while back, so things might have changed. There are just so many good places to go, that we've been trying new things and going back to our old favorites. I'll tell you one thing, if you like cuban food, Bongos is really good. especially if you sit outside out backand enjoy the water view.


BlueFairy, we haven't done the brunch so sorry I'm really no help with that.

I'm so glad I found this thread!! An hour later, I've read it all and have a page full of notes...

We're going to WL in Oct. Last time we were visiting Disney, DH and I ate at Artist Point and new we had to stay at WL sometime. Fairytale Pkg is making my dream come true!

We have a courtyard view which I think will be great. Do you think I need to request a room up high or anything else specific? My concern is my 2 year old that will need to nap - I guess I want the best view with the least amt of noise...any suggestions?

If I want a room with bunk beds, should I call now and have them put that in my reservation?

Upgrading to concierge also has my interest... I think I'm going to want a refridgerator b/c my kids drink so much milk, but am I better off to put that $$ toward concierge? If I do that is it better to do it one I'm at WL or call ahead?

I can only answer one part. Call CRO and tell them you require bunk beds and they will take care of. I had a fridge ordered and then had it taken off. Most on this thread opted for a cooler and I have a good one. Also was told there is ice machines on the floors.

Yes call them. I handled everthng through them includeing the room number and two double beds. I am checking in Monday 7/7 so I we see first hand how it worked.

I was just wondering if you got your luggage tags yet and trying to estimate when we will get our stuff for our trip.

I checked a book store at a local Mall and here is a good map of WDW. Shows a lot of interests outside WDW.
If there is a SHELLS near WDW it is a great seafood place. Man size portions at 1/2 the cost of anything in the WDW.
