Need a top 10 (or so) list of things to do at OKW

3. Get a massage at "Slappy Joe's".
Unfortunatly, that is no longer available unless it is during busy seasons. It has not been available the last couple of trips.

:sad2: That's too bad.
We only have been during peak season (summer), so we didn't realize it wasn't available all the time.

Is the Turtle Shack Pool area open now. I thought it was closed??

Turtle Shack snack place is only open seasonally, and then only when there are a lot of people around.

We had a good FW view from our OKW balcony and at the same time could see glimpses of Wishes off to the side.

You could walk to Downtown Disney then post about it when you come back to let me know what it is like. That way I'll know if I want to try it.popcorn::

If your group would like a beautiful peaceful walk follow the path from OKW to SSR. You can always return by boat if you choose.

During the year of a million dreams, the OKW mousekeeping staff does a "parade" once during each week. The time seems to float, but if you are out and about when they arrive, it is great fun! They dress their vehicles up in "key West" decor and play calypso music and wear panama hats etc, and put their dusters on the support posts of their "floats". They wave and shout to anyone out and about....great fun!

Ah, yes, is it called the "Pargo" parade (after their vehicles)? My daughter scored a lot of cute little toys from those parades earlier this year. :wizard:

When you check in, you'll get a sheet titled "Hank's Happenings" which lists all the activities scheduled for that week.

Little ones can do the Unbirthday party. There's decorate your own parasol, magnet, flip flops, etc. There's pool vollyball and other pool activities scheduled. Lots to do at OKW.
