MK wait times

I wouldn't attribute some staff cuts to much of an increase in wait time. It doesn't take make CM's to run most rides. Also have spring break crowds so the more popular rides are even busier.

Staff cuts means they are running fewer trains, only one side of Dumbo etc.

We're hoping that all the negative feedback from the staffing cuts will be have it all fixed by November when we go. But I have seen Space Mtn. running only 1 track back in 2012 so it's nothing new.

I will be there in 11 days for a 6 day trip I went last year at this time and it was not to bad yes during the pick of the day there was long lines but this is disney so you will have to wait for some things

We were there the second week in March, which was after the cut backs and during some schools Spring Break (UGA where my son goes) and although it was crowded, we really didn't think it was that bad. The only time we passed on a wait in line was on our leave morning, which was a Saturday, we went to HS around 10 and decided to ride ToT. The posted wait time was 50 min. so we decided why not, as soon as we got in line a CM came down to about 2 people in front of us and said anyone past this point the wait will be 85 min, we passed on that. I went to MK on Friday night around 6 or 6:30, ate at Pecos Bills which was crowded but still they had plenty of tables then went over to BTMR and did standby, I think I the posted wait time was about 45 min but I didn't wait more than 30.

The post did not say only one train is being ran at big thunder..

Josh's post is for the day he went last week when crowds were a lot higher than WDW had expected them to be. I read somewhere else that Dumbo had only one side open because they were painting the other side. Possible they thought it would be a good day for some maintenance and then got slammed though with ADR, FP+ and resort stays all prebooked, you'd think they'd know what crowd levels are going to be weeks in advance. Unless last week had a huge same day AP surge that Disney wasn't expecting, hard to see why they would be so unprepared.

If those times and lower staff were reported for yesterday then I'd be worried.

Just back from trip this past week and there was no difference in BTMR. Waits ranged from 20-60 minutes at various times. We were actually surprised how reasonable all the waits were. Last week was also the first week of FP from mobile device so may have increased some usage of FP. But from 11th-15th, was really pretty good wait times overall.

Good to know. I think it was pointed out that the day he went to MK it was an unusually busy day.
