MGM in Feb

We will be in Orlando for only 2 days in Feb (arrive late on Thurs 2/16, leave Sun 2/19) before heading to Ft. Myers Beach. Our family would like to spend 1 day at MGM; we're staying off-site at Cypres Pointe. My question: Which day would you expect to be less crowded at MGM - Friday, Feb. 17 or Sat Feb 18? I realize that Feb 18 begins the vacation week for the northeast, but is Sat more of a travel day? Any thoughts are appreciated!

I would try to see if either end up being an EMH day. If so then I would avoid that day and go the other. Another good thing would be if Thursday were an EMH day- then I'd go Friday. This is usually a good rule of thumb to follow if you won't or cannot use EMH.
