My son is 8.5 and my daughter is 4. Sounds like our kids are just about the same ages. We also know another family (classmate of my daughter) who will be on this cruise. They have a 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl.

Abby, we will definitely go to the meet. Hopefully your family can too and maybe you can tell the other family you know about it, too. I would LOVE if my boys can meet some other boys their age before we set sail. My oldest is shy and if he has a familiar face to look for out and about and at kids club that'd help him out tremendously! Are you doing any excursions? We aren't going to do any disney ones. We did a 3 n cruise in December just me and DH. For our DCL excursion while it was planned for us we spent so much time queing and waiting, it was a little painful... for two adults! So we are going to try and arrange our own excursions... for a lot less $ too. Beach breaks I think for cozumel and grand cayman and i think in key west we'll be doing the trolley in town and/or renting an electric car.

I was thinking we'd do the pirate/treasure museum (forget the name) and probably just wander around. In Grand Cayman, DD and I have an excursion booked through Disney (one of the semi-subs). DH and DS are planning something that DD is too young to do. We've done excursions on our own before but I didn't feel comfortable doing it with just me and DD. We've been to Grand Cayman many times. In Cozumel, DH was talking about taking a private tour but I don't think he's booked anything yet.

I also noticed that you're on the Fantasy cruise we're thinking of booking for next year. Fingers crossed we can book what we want for a reasonable (to DH) price.

Mommy of three boys, I would post a pic, but don't know how. I have tried, but don't have a photobucket account. We will be wearing green for St. Patty's Day and I always shave a Mickey head on the back of my DH's head and he shaves the rest.

You guys are in West Palm too? Whereabouts? We have family in Melbourne, so we're driving up the night before to stay there. They are going to drop us off so we can avoid the port parking.
As for the meet = up, my twin girls and I are blonde and my little one, Cora, is brunette as well as my DH- he's 6'3''. I have no idea what we are wearing yet, but if what I ordered arrives in time, the girls should have on green sparkle headbands. The twins look the same pretty much so they are the easiest to spot!

Hopefully you can view it. I took it so I am not in there. My husband is with his parents on the right and our cousin that is participating in the FE is in there with her husband and 1 of her boys. The gentleman at the right of her is our cousin. We will all be on the trip including not pictured 1 of her sons, her brother and her Mom. We are very much looking forward to going.

We leave on Monday for precruise so if you would post here the time and place for the meet on Saturday we would appreciate it. I am sure we will be the group (there are 11 of us) that will be a sea of green.

We're out west in Wellington. Driving up on Friday after school. Staying in a hotel the night before.

I had the toughest time this morning explaining to DD that yes, we were leaving on Friday but not today. Next Friday. I think she's as excited as I am.

That's kinda funny... we'll likely be wearing our matching tie dye mickey shirts too that day!! =) Had to order DD a new one, should be here soon. Otherwise the rest of ours still fit from 2010's WDW trip. I tell ya though... I had a hard time passing up a shirt I saw at Target today. Mickey Mouse himself in a leprechaun's hat. Gee, can't get much better than that. But, alas, I am not buying everyone a green mickey mouse/st patty's day shirt and if I had one, and the kids didn't, I'd never hear the end of it!

That's so funny! I saw the same tee at Target last week and almost bought it, but realized I didn't have anything like that for the girls! I was SOOO close to buying it!

Oh cool. We're basically in downtown WPB. My girls have been explaining to each other that yes, we are leaving Friday, but we're not actually going on the boat until Saturday! Although my house has been a mess for weeks trying to make sure we get everything packed that we need!

I am so ready for this cruise. In the last two weeks, I had a new niece born, two nights of tornado warnings, DS had a sinus infection, my Mom had surgery and then had complications from that, my husband and I have both been slammed at work, and then a friend and I did another friend's wedding. Now we just have to get through four days of work and then we are MAGIC bound!!! I have decided that if we have to, we can each stick a pair of clean underwear in my purse and buy everything else when we get there!!!

I am so looking forward to meeting all of you. Did we officially decide where to meet?

I sure am ready too! This week at work is going to be awful. In anticipation of me being off for a week, there are a lot of meetings that need to take place and projects that need to be completed before I go. We were hoping to leave early Friday afternoon so we could get to the hotel in time for the kids to swim, but I don't know if that will happen... We have not even started to pack yet. There is so much to do before we leave.

Good luck. We drove straight through to South Carolina one summer (both ways). We've also done Gatlinburg to Orlando in one day as well.

I too am so ready for this cruise. Our last Spring Break cruise was right after my grandmother passed away. I came back from NY (where the funeral was) late Thursday night and we left on Friday. I had no idea what I packed because I just threw things in the suitcases. I think I slept the first 2 days of that cruise. Last year we went skiing for Spring Break and I am so *not* a cold weather person.

I'm planning to bring out the suitcases on Wednesday. Just got the last of DSs clothes today. I also realized I have yet to try on my bathing suit. I may be making an emergency trip to the store! DHs scheduled changed (again) this week but at least he's done Thursday morning. He's an ER doctor who works nights and this is his first week back from carpal tunnel surgery on 2/29.
