Amy, I thought about you and knew you were over there having a ball with your family, you so deserved to! Now I am guessing maybe you are back home and then leaving for India soon? Hope all is well, I see you are very toasty hot today!
 
I'm back!!!! What a GREAT time! And of course that all came crashing to a halt when I came back to work this morning... Oh well, I'm sure my vacation glow will at least get me through the week. :goodvibes

My weight the day I left for the UK 3 weeks ago was 137. My weight on Sunday, the day after I got back, was 139! I can't believe I only gained 2 lbs in 3 weeks!!! I am really happy about that.

I will get back to my journal later, just wanted to pop in and say HI for now!!!!

Weigh-in this morning was 137. Which is absolutely AMAZING considering I was out of the country for 3 weeks! I ate really well all week, and also worked out 3x (should have been more, but I'm easing my way back!).

Today has not been great with food, but I am going to be really careful to not fall into bad habits. I started out good, with chocolate oatmeal for breakfast, but went downhill fast with popcorn and Sugar Babies at the movies and 1/2 Cinnabon for lunch! :eek: I haven't eaten anything since, and I hope to drink lots of water and behave for the rest of the day. We are grilling tri-tip for dinner, and I can always have fruit if I get hungry before then. :thumbsup2

I leave for India in 2 weeks. It is going to be a very short trip. I think I will find the true meaning of jetlag this time! I leave Sunday night at 7pm and get to Delhi TUESDAY morning at 6:30am! :rolleyes: THen we head back home that Friday. YIKES!!!

I will try to be more consistent with my journal, but I have been absolutely swamped at work, and have actually been taking my computer home to work at night. There is just not enough time in the day, and being gone for 3 weeks at this crucial time was really tough. But, it was totally worth it!

It sounds like you have a lot going on at work right now..Plus a lot of traveling too...Please be sure and take it easy as much as you can. You don't want to run yourself down and end up getting sick. :hug:

Congrats on the SUPER EATING JOB while you were gone!! I'm sure I won't be anywhere near what I am now when I get back....oh well!

Glad you had a wonderful trip! Sorry work is so icky right now. India??? Yep, it's where everything is moving!

I can't believe I've been such a bad WISHer! Work has been absolutely mind-boggling, I have been working 10-12hr days all week, which means I haven't even had time to log on, let alone post anything! And when I get home, I have to make dinner, then I have been so exhausted I just go to bed by 9pm. Then it starts all over again... Things will continue to be this crazy until the end of Sept, when this proposal gets submitted. CAN'T WAIT!!!

Weigh-in this morning was 136! :cool1: I was really happy about that, but I know it's only due to stress and lack of eating. Not the right way to lose, but I'll take it. I only worked out ONCE this week, and that was this morning! I have a bunch of early morning meetings, so I haven't been able to get to the gym. But I am going to have to remember to make time for myself.

I leave for India a week from Sunday. Got my passport back yesterday, with the Indian visa in it, so I am good to go. Still waiting on medical to schedule my shots. Not looking forward to that! :confused3

I will try to catch up with everyone this weekend, thanks for checking in on me! :grouphug:

Sending lots of :wizard::wizard: your way. Please be sure and take some time for you each day for rest and relaxation. I know you said that this project will last until the end of September..... You definitely do not want to burn yourself out. :hug:

Amy, that is great news on the weigh in! I am sorry you have been so busy and stressed. Will that get better soon or is this going to be the new order of things? I hope it settles down soon!

ANother week of not being able to WISH. Geez, this is getting old! :sad2: My weight has crept up to 139. I am really disappointed in myself, but I guess that is what happens when you only work out once in 2 weeks. I have just not had time to do anything! My house is a mess, I have barely spent any quality time with the kids... THese long days are killing me. But I do have a light at the end of the tunnel - when the kids start school on Aug 12, I will HAVE to take them and not be able to go to work until 8am, so there is my gym time in the mornings. I kind of can't wait to get back into that routine, I feel so much better when exercising.

I leave for India tomorrow. I have been so busy I haven't even had a chance to get excited about it. The kids are at their dad's for the next 2 weeks. I am really bummed about that, I hate it when they go for that long. But at least I don't feel guilty about traveling for work, since they are not at home anyway.

I do plan on taking my workout clothes, we are staying at a really nice hotel, I'm pretty sure they will have an exercise room. I also stocked up on Immodium, just in case I get "Delhi Belly" as my co-workers call it! :lmao:
