I don't know if you remember, but I posted awhile back about me having surgery. Well I talked to my Dr today & he wants me to have it. BUT I don't know what to do, I can't have it if I take a new postion b/c I will be in a probationary period for 6 months & I don't know if they will wait for me to come back. BUT if I don't take it I will feel stupid b/c I hate the job I have now & there won't be another postion for me for a VERY VERY long time

This is going to be such a tough week for you.

I think you should go to the interview and show them how great you are.

Just because you may be having surgery later in the year doesn't mean they have to know about it! When the time comes they will work it out.. just like with any other employee.

The only thing is last time I went to the Dr I asked how soon after I got clearence would the surgery happen, they said in about a week!! it would all happen really quickly, then I would have to be out for 6-8 weeks

She hasn't really said. But I think it will happen pretty soon b/c x-mas is a really busy time for us

Ok I talked it over with all of you, my mom, and a coworker/good friend & have come up with an answer. If I get it I will wait till Jan. to have the surg. If I don't get it I will have it right away. Win win for me in a way.
