"According to Chris Stark on Twitter, the barrage of cyber hate toward LaViolette was the subject of lengthy meetings in the judge's chambers on Monday. Apparently the stress sent the DV expert to the emergency room last weekend. She presented with anxiety and heart palpitations."

Yeah, I'm not so sure the death threats against her is such a good idea, love the internet justice seekers, geeez, there's some vile stuff out there.

Thanks for the Birthday wish. I remember your DH's birthday was this month as well. From the time we went to dinner in Carlsbad. We were celebrating his and my birthday. Me and him have to get together again and drink some more brews. You'll be our DD right? Of course the next time will hopefully be at DL since you're closer there now.

I don't know if its BCF's birthday as well. I know it will also be PebblesMK birthday as well. She has the same birthday as your DH.

But she should've known going into this that she would receive a lot of heat. Her testimony is clearly showing to be one-sided and the voices of the people speak loudly.

I agree with UR that the death threats aren't such a good idea and that's taking things to the extreme. I also feel for her health, but if she's been doing this for years, she would also know this would be stressful.

I do recall she testified she doesn't make her living this way but she doesn't come across as a seasoned expert witness at all. I think she was somewhat prepared for the cross by the State, but totally unprepared for the public backlash. The crap on Amazon can be handled by them and most DV professionals know AL isn't acting out of maliciousness or even ignorance of this case so her professionalism isn't questioned by them, but she doesn't strike me as the type that can handle death threats very well.

Yeah, some of us can handle death threats, no biggie, get in line.

All I want to say about ALV is exactly the way Mare has titled THIS thread "RAMBLING" and it is getting reallllllly annoying. She is sooooooo for JA and it is disturbing to watch day after day. And NOW we have WILMA back up there questioning ALV.

My highlight of yesterday's testimony was JM screaming at her to "STOP LOOKING TO YOUR LEFT and LOOK AT ME".

OMG, OMG, CLASSIC JM!!!!

That is very 'telling' that ALV had to ALWAYS look over to WILMA.

I watched EVERYONE yesterday from all the Trial right through to Vinnie's After Dark. All very good programs last night discussing everything.
The guest co host with Vinnie (and has been on with him allot) is David Otunga Jr. I like him allot. Did you all know he is singer, Jennifer Hudson's long time BF and I believe they are engaged.

I agree she is going to get this in everything. I don't wish harm, I don't hate her, but I don't like her actions. I would love to know how the other cases she testified came out. I did not post any reviews for her. But I think she may be getting a clue what stalking is, as that is what someone did on their lunch.

She might think differently in the future of what she testifies to that's for sure.

You think the judge would get the hint. I had to laugh after he said and then she said she would look at the jury. When he wasn't looking she turned and looked at the DT. I need to know how to do screen shots and post it. Who wants to teach me?
