Resort Thread Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB Resorts

I wish the seafood pot pie would be on mobile order. It hasn’t been in the few times I’ve looked. A couple in my family love it, couple don’t really care for the rest of the menu. Would be nice to get that Togo for them and the other two just grab something from the market.
Can you order to-go food in person?

This reads as though the front walls will transfer over to Yacht club once finished. Will be interested to see how long this front construction takes.

Honestly I have no idea. Hopefully someone else here will know. I just kind of assumed not because there is just a check in podium when you enter the restaurant there. Not sure if they have the capability to enter orders. Unless of course they bring a server up from the dining room.

OP asked about going from A&C at Yacht Club over to the Beach Club Villas.

BCV is the only place we have stayed. Its all very close. Walking from your room to AC is less than 10 min walk (Disney app says its all 11 mins to walk around the BCV building to the pool).

Now that I think about it, I don't recall ever taking hot food from anywhere up to my BCV room, so I guess I can't directly answer OP's question. I eat in the room a lot, but I guess it's always cold food.

We have gotten hot food from The Market (further away than AC) at YC multiple times and its always hot (we were on the top floor half way down the hallway and didn't run or anything to get back to the room). Its all super close.

That being said we have even went to Boardwalk, gotten hot food over there, and brought it back and it was hot as well. That is more of a hike though than the leisurely stroll over to YC.

Is there a specific reason why you want to order in person? I am not sure if they are strict with you having to use the app.

We will be there in the coming weeks and I can try to remember to ask for you though.
PP was mentioning they wanted to order an item that wasn’t available on mobile order and I wondered if they had tried in person to order take out to get around that restriction, but they did not.

Yes, that appears to be accurate. See notices below. It states it’s a “3-month refurbishment of the exterior of the resort.”

“Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance from early June through September 2025. During this time, the porte cocheres will be closed. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available, and most Resort amenities will continue to be offered.”

Porte Cochere Under Construction at Disney’s Beach Club

Regular services such as valet, luggage services, and transportation options remain available here. Buses can’t enter this area because of the limited driveway space. Here’s a look around the construction.

Are they also refurbishing the back too, even when the pool is finished?

That is the million dollar question. I've asked a similar one in the help chat a few times. Here was their latest answer:

"At the moment they have not announced since it depends on how the current work goes as they are going. There is no way to tell at the moment where they will be at that time."

Just hoping the work is down to smaller sections if it is still going on at the back poolside when we're there.

Seems strange they’ve dodged the question a few times! Just tell us if you’re doing it, we just want to be prepared! Ha

This is my question too. I had the Nantucket Suite back in May and couldn't enjoy either balcony or even just being in the room when they were working. It was so loud. I have it booked again next month but now I see photos with scaffolding in that area.

That sounds like inconclusive gobbleygook!

Have you called Disney Signature Service (DSS) or emailed them. They are available seven days a week from 9 to 5 Eastern Time or email disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com

As a Club Level guest you should go that route vs a Chat CM that does not have specific details or any information that is generally available. DSS may have no more information but at least you are pointing in the right direction. Even DSS does not have access to real-time information like scaffolding schedules.
