I'm wondering if this judge and the prosecutor have some sort of history. I can't believe some of the things this judge is letting in to testimony. And Nurmi should have been admonished a LONG time ago to knock off the leading questions. It's almost like the judge is deliberately trying to derail the prosecution's case.

What I wouldn't give to have had Belvin Perry on this case. He wouldn't have stood for this nonsense from Jodi or Nurmi.

I'm betting this is going to end in a hung jury.

Since it's a death penalty case, the judge is giving more leeway so that there won't be basis for an appeal.

Believing what the prosecutor and ME say is kinda hard to do since they contradict each other. ME says he was shot last while the State presented evidence he was shot first in the charging documents (that's why Nurmi keeps asking for a mistrial) and is the basis for the cruelty in this case making it 1st degree murder warranting the death penalty.

That's back from August 2009. Wasn't that the issue that came up earlier in the trial? That the detective gave this info, but it's not what the ME had actually said, and the judge decided that it didn't affect the cruelty of the case no matter what came first? (If I don't check back in tonight, I'm not ignoring you! I'm just in a fog! LOL)

But its a death penalty case, so the judge is likely to watch every T and dot every I and give the defense every opportunity to get it all in....so there is No question later on IF, and thats a BIG if, they find in favor of death

I think death is not likely, with her as a defendant. Dont agree with that, but think its a strong possibility. Guess we'll find out in a few weeks time..........

AZ Supreme Court I think ruled they'll rule on it later, plenty of time.

It's not about the cruelty in reference to what the ME said, it's that the State's probable cause to charge her is based on evidence that's contrary to the ME findings, much like the trial, it's a circus.

I was so disgusted last night when they said JA and her defense team get to review the questions.

What the heck?!?
Nurmi will tell her exactly how to answer them. WELL IF SHE LISTENS TO HIM.
He was giving her all kinds of hints yesterday and she still didn't answer the way he wanted.

My daughter was watching it yesterday and she text me that she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Him pushing her to answer a certain way and she just wouldn't. I told her thats pretty much the norm for this trial.

I'm guessing if they are going right to the questions JM isn't getting another crack at her.
