Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

All the juror questions for prior witnesses were reviewed by the judge and all attorneys prior to being asked. But Jodi isn't just a witness...she's the defendant, and she's part of her defense team, so she should be able to see the questions as much as her attorneys. I know in the Casey Anthony trial, altho she wasn't present at the sidebars physically, she was aware of what the discussions were...I think on her computer screen, as the court reporter typed out what was said at the sidebar. I'm assuming it's the same for Jodi.

:thumbsup2
She needs time to make up more stories :faint: imho

So you don't believe the medical examiner's determination that he was stabbed in the back first? And the shell casing then must've gotten moved to the location on top of the blood near the sink, but if it did move, it most likely would have collected some blood along the way. And if the bullet casing landed right there from the actual shooting, there would have had to have been a prior injury that bled.

I still don't think he looks angry in that picture. LOL Still think it's the moody model look. And that he's sitting down in that picture.

Was there a curtain or a door on the shower? I think on the diagram of the bathroom it gives the height of a shower door. If I was in the shower, there'd be no way that door would open and I wouldn't notice immediately. I would think I'd have more of a shocked look than any of those pictures of Travis.

:confused3 I'm inclined to believe what the medical examiner and prosecutor say, so I'll have to listen to the closing statements, because at this point, I don't remember the exact details.

I saw the door, if you look close, it is against the wall.

Did you guys say that the pros or defense side can DENY getting the questions included/answered...????

Can someone clarify?

I bolded
But the closing arguments are just that...arguments, not really facts...tho JM will have facts...the other side.....more stories and manipulations likely to weave the entire fake story of abuse etc etc to justify her actionS to slaughter him IMHO.... KWM?
I just meant that that's where I'm going to remind myself of what was presented in the trial about what came first (stabbing, shooting, slashing)...during closing arguments.

A tweet from Vinnie Politan: @VinniePolitan: Juror yawns during #JodiArias teary explanation for why she felt she had no choice but to kill Travis....

I saw that. I truly believe they do not believe her.

While jurors have about 100 questions for Arias, it's likely that number will be lower by the time the judge actuallly asks them. Each side will spend the first half of the day tomorrow reviewing the questions and preparing their objections. The judge will probably find that a number of them cannot be asked--she may find some irrelevant or that some go into areas she already ruled off-limits

I agree...:rotfl: with so many red herrings out there its so hard to keep track of anything....That fog seems to have creeped into us all ::yes::

Meanwhile, I keep saying to myself....what does any of this craziness have to do with the FACT that he was stabbed 29 times, shot in the head and had his throat slit...and left to die and covered UP with compounded LIES upon LIES that she already acknowledges.?
It just makes NO SENSE that it was self defense.....just NONE Imho

I have not read this link but this is the same lady that had to take her FB postings down yesterday because she was getting backlash for calling Travis disgusting.

Are you saying JA's mother was saying disgusting things about Travis?

Believing what the prosecutor and ME say is kinda hard to do since they contradict each other. ME says he was shot last while the State presented evidence he was shot first in the charging documents (that's why Nurmi keeps asking for a mistrial) and is the basis for the cruelty in this case making it 1st degree murder warranting the death penalty.

The State presented evidence that the victim was first shot on the right side of his head near
his eye with a .25 caliber handgun and that the bullet lodged in his left cheek. This wound was not
fatal and may or may not have rendered the victim unconscious. The victim did not remain
unconscious based on the infliction of the other wounds and the location of blood spatter evidence
in the bathroom sink and blood in the hallway.
In addition, the defendant told the police that the
victim was unconscious after being shot but then crawled around and was stabbed.
The victim was then stabbed 27 times in the back, shoulders, head and chest. Cuts on the
hands were defensive wounds from grabbing the knife. With the exception of two wounds, these
wounds were not fatal. The two fatal wounds were a deep stab wound to the chest and then a cut
across the throat. While conscious, the victim would have felt pain and mental anguish associated
with these multiple wounds.
The Court finds that the State has proved that there is probable cause to believe that the
offense was especially cruel under the theory that it involved both physical and mental suffering
of the victim

No, Dr. Glass was saying he was disgusting. The were talking about it on another forum. I went to read it but it had already been taken down.

Yes. They need to be vetted.
LOOK AT THIS ARTICLE ABOUT JA's MOTHER and her actions in the COURTROOM.

Thanks. Will read later. I'm on Jodi/Nurmi-overload right now. I need a break from this stuff.

 Altho, I'll probably check back in here in 15 minutes and post again. Then, somebody, please shoot me. DH is out at a business dinner, so maybe I'll veg out and watch something besides the HLN lineup about this trial...something with respectable people, like Millionaire Matchmaker or Dance Moms.

I'm wondering if this judge and the prosecutor have some sort of history. I can't believe some of the things this judge is letting in to testimony. And Nurmi should have been admonished a LONG time ago to knock off the leading questions. It's almost like the judge is deliberately trying to derail the prosecution's case.

What I wouldn't give to have had Belvin Perry on this case. He wouldn't have stood for this nonsense from Jodi or Nurmi.

I'm betting this is going to end in a hung jury.

Let me clarify. The defense and the prosecution can't just say "nope, not that question, not this question" just because they don't like it or the don't want Jodi to have to answer it. It has to be an appropriate question, follow laws, be allowed by the judge etc, just like any other evidence.

REALLY? That's awful. Well she has obviously shifted gears if she is now pissed off at JA's family and the way they are treating Travis' family.

Hung Jury...hope not
But its a death penalty case, so the judge is likely to watch every T and dot every I and give the defense every opportunity to get it all in....so there is No question later on IF, and thats a BIG if, they find in favor of death

I think death is not likely, with her as a defendant. Dont agree with that, but think its a strong possibility. Guess we'll find out in a few weeks time..........
till then :confused3
