Satu'li Canteen

I have always wanted to try Satu'li Canteen but I am not sure if I will have time to try it since we have a lunch booked at Yak & Yeti and was wondering if they offer to-go containers (in all the pics the food seems to be served in real bowls / plates)? Has anyone every done this-- curious if one of their bowls would survive the bus ride back to the resort?

I have never seen to go containers at Satuli, and yes, they do use real bowls and plates. I don't think you would be permitted to take that. You could just take your own container.

I am almost certain that they have some kind of to-go containers, but I can't say that I've ever noticed it. One of the nice things about eating there is having the real plates and utensils. I am not sure how well it would travel and you'd need a way to heat it up too.

They have the small brown paper boxes available if you ask a cast member so that you can box up your meal or left overs. I have used as recently as last week

Thanks for the confirmation. I was sure they did, but I couldn't remember ever actually seeing it. I love Satu'li, but I'm not sure it would travel that well. I always get the cheeseburger pods too, and I know they wouldn't!
