Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

Me too.
I won't be home to watch until last this afternoon. You will all have to carry on without me.
I am hoping it wraps up soon. I think the jury must have been bored to tears yest. I know I was.

I think the report of a juror yawning speaks volumes.........

Morning All :wave2:

Will be stopping in and out today..this thing called Life seems to get in the way sometimes :rotfl:

Did you hear JM mention to the judge that hed like time to review things with the family....to warn them about things that may come up, I suppose....I am curious as to how many Q's will actually get posed to JA out of the alleged 100...Im hoping far far less.

I think it is good that they get to ask Qs up front rather than during deliberations, but it sounds like a free for all..(if the question was not answered/covered it was because the evidence was not there or youd have to believe the lie) ...I mean there has got to be some Common sense applied ...its either you do or you dont believe the lies IMHO....
so the q's dont bode good to me....Its like they are trying to justify believing her KWIM? What else could that mean?
It makes me uneasy ...I am sickened by the entire defense...its all just made up with no basis in actuality or facts...just ....if you can "act" you can use it...:crazy2: Again, IMHO

Morning everyone.

While I'm anxious to hear what questions the jury has of Jodi, I hope the judge doesn't allow her to ramble on and on with her answers. We really don't need another class in the Law of Attraction, do we?

Good morning, everyone! :goodvibes

My husband is home from work today. I've already told him he will be banished to the basement during trial hours. There's a TV and woodburning stove down there ... and the good recliner ... so don't go feeling too sorry for him. ;)

I'm very upset that she gets to look at the questions - that kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think? I wonder if the jury knows she gets to look at them beforehand since they were sent out of the room before that whole discussion?

I guess in a way it makes sense that she gets to see them - otherwise, it would be like being cross-examined by the jury. :scratchin

I'm sure we're all for an interesting day. Anything has to be better than yesterday's snooze-fest.

No we don't...and I am with you Uncle Remus, please let her be restricted to yes and no answers.

If I understand correctly the Judge will ask the jury questions, hopefully the Judge is also interested in moving on.

Honestly, I have no burning questions for Jodi. I can't imagine she will answer truthfully anyway. But it WILL be interesting to see if the questions pertain more to dv issues or technical issues. I mean, she pretty much has no cooberation to any of her stories. She pretty much blanks out about anything to do with being in AZ, she doesn't even have receipts.

But, if she used the gas cans in AZ to put gas in her car at sometime (most likely that stop before the Hoover Dam when she woke up from this fog she is having. Lets face it, according to her she woke up with blood on her hands, went to the back of the car and got a water from the case she carries around in her trunk, washed up etc etc. How about she put the gas in her car at that time and was washing gas from her hands not so much blood. I can't imagine that in broad daylight she was able to drive miles and miles with blood on her hands and there be MORE in the car, on the outside of the car anywhere at all and not another single person sitting at a stoplight next to her noticed it. If she had blood on her hands, at 6 pm (giving the benefit of doubt on time there) in June, it was still LIGHT outside. She had to have gotten some on the OUTSIDE of the white rental car in order to get in as she is running for her life. kwim.

She washed her hands alright. But it was to remove gas from her hands. The mats were gone because she got blood on her feet that transferred to the mat. To make it look like there were no mats in the car, she threw the bloody one and the rest away. She was covering up all the way to Utah.

When a jury asks questions to the defendent (Jodi) they are giving plausibility to what she is saying. Does everyone agree with that? It only takes one juror to acquit. So my question is why the 100 plus questions, it's so so obvious with evidence, whereabouts, pictures in the camera, on and on that she's guilty.

Plus they were saying if she eh hem took the gun in a stressfull moment to save her life, from Travis's walk in closet, nothing was touched, or disturbed. The gun was on the top shelf, yet not one item of clothing or anything was disturbed, nothing, in fact everything is quite organized and pristine. She is such a liar.

Thoughts?

I think we'll know more about how the jury feels once we hear their questions. It could be things like, "Why didn't you call 911 if you shot him in self-defense?" "If you didn't see him between April and June (which is what she said on the stand yesterday), what prompted the visit on June 4? If you were separated and broken-up, and he was abusive, why get yourself back in that situation?"

Hi!

Maybe that is what they are going to ask and I don't disagree with what you are saying. The difference is however, that if even 1 jurist at this point needs "further explanation" of any one of her answers, they are already giving her explanation of the story she is telling merritt regardless of how smaill.

I don't think that it is a stretch, for a jurist to find quilt for what Arais is being charged with, considering the fact that she changed her story 3 times, stabbed her boyfriend 28 times, slit his throat and shot him in the head. All this, in self defense. I don't see how a "reasonable person" (juror) could not see the problem with that, and give Arais enough credibility with anything she says. When a jurist asks a question it means they are contemplating a response.

It doesn't make any sense why the car mats would be covered in blood. How'd she get out of the house without tracking blood everywhere? Did she throw on shoes? Also, JM pointed out the large blood stain in the hallway and the footprints, meaning she walked through the blood...can you imagine squishing your toes in blood? :scared1:

Yeah, that is what makes me more sure that there was no blood on her hands. I mean there is not a path to the downstairs. Even though we KNOW she went and put that load of laundry in down there. Its strange.

You have a point about the mats though...Wonder if it was HER blood from her finger. I cut my thumb with a knife and severed the tendon. It blood like all get out. I didn't realize I had hurt it so badly, just cut it and wrapped it. It bled profusely. I ended up going to the er about 2 hrs later. Not because it hurt (which it friggin did) but I couldn't get it to stop bleeding.

Kelly

ETA: and does anyone else think she had blood on her hands when she took the load downstairsn(bloody towels and stuff), she had to wash them when she started the washer. I have gotten detergent on my hands and put it under the water from the machine as it is filling up. The lid is still up. So, how could there be blood. None on the door on the way out, none on the outside of the door. Nothing. But the foggy memory.

Watching yesterdays events. Nurmi asked Jodi "Did you wish it was you laying dead on the bathroom floor instead of Travis", her response "When are you talking about?...I felt like that but it depends on the time period". SERIOUSLY?!?!

I don't think the other witnesses got to rehehearse the jury questions, but I only saw them ask Lisa. I remember they asked if Travis was abusive to her. NO. And if she ever called Jodi a stalker. YES!

Jodi is part of the defense team but it seems unfair. If she was telling the truth there would be no need to prepare for the questions.

I don't know what they'll ask her. If it were me, I don't think I would ask anything.

Hello All!

Does anyone have any of idea of how the sequence of this murder happened? If they say the bullet casing was on top of the blood near the sink, he was shot last, I would suspect. There was blood splatter at the sink and a large pool of blood on the carpet which was at the end of the tiled hallway which leads to his master bedroom. Can anyone try to put the pieces together?

There is a video that is the suspected timeline

I tend to agree with the ME on the shot not being first. I think Travis thought Jodi was gone and started to take a shower. I think he was startled and mad when he realized she was not gone. I don't believe a lot about Jodi's events of this day. I think this is the day she realized Travis was moving on, it was the last time. He was breaking it off completely. No friends with benefits, no hope.

I think the stab to the heart came first and when he realized he was hurt started to run. She stabbed him as HE was running to the closet. Towards the sink. He then realizes he is stabbed and blood is all over the sink. She starts stabbing in the back he gets away to down the hall, he falls from loss of blood at this point. I think this is where Travis was on all fours saying he couldn't feel his legs (from the previous Intruder story she told Det. Flores) and she cuts his throat. I think his body was making noises and she construed this as he was still alive and not that he was dying she she shot him the shower.

Maybe she planned for the gun to be first and I am totally off base. IDK, but foresics tell a different story than the one she is.
